Let’s be real here. What is consistently, incorrectly referred to as “speaking fees” are political contributions made with the full expectation that Hitlery would be the next president. Hitlery accepts these “speaking fees” and issues implied IOUs which will be redeemed when she becomes president. Corruption. Influence peddling. Whatever. It’s not complicated.
