An "article" posted Thursday by Jeva Lange at The Week blatantly lies about Ted Cruz. And it is not the first time Lange has mischaracterized Cruz's words.
The post, titled "Ted Cruz mistakenly claims Jimmy Carter endorsed Donald Trump," gives the reader the false impression that Ted Cruz said former President Jimmy Carter would vote for Donald Trump.

Haven’t you read or listened to Jimmy Carter on Trump? He says Trump has no core principles and is thus malleable and will do pretty much whatever the dems want him to do, whereas Ted Cruz is a true believer and will stick to his principles.

Ted Cruz is the MOST substantive candidate running. Indeed, the one of the issues the moderators brought up last night at the debate is that Trump is long on promises but virtually has no specifics.
Genuine Conservatives and genuine Leftists see the same thing in Donald Trump, just from opposite perspectives.
Genuine conservatives look at Trump’s life and record with horror, and don’t believe his rhetoric.
