Sen. Ted Cruz won the New Hampshire GOP debate. Cruz managed to stay above the hand to hand combat between the desperate governors and Sen Marco Rubio and Donald Trump. He gave great answers to the ABC News moderators, some of whom spent the night fishing for sound bites that could be used to help the Democrats' eventual nominee.
Gov. Chris Christie went after Sen. Marco Rubio early and seemed to rattle him. Unfortunately Christie came across as...

Cruz came off as presidential ad above the fray. Everybody else was either weak, petulant, or crazy.

Cruz won the debate? You have got to be kidding. We hardly knew he was there. He didn’t lose, but he certainly didn’t win either.

Not last night’s debate.
ROUNDUP OF DEBATE (starting with winner)
Tiger Trump - The Winner. Courageous on issues. Calm.
Christie - The Runner Up. Strong. Give him a dozen donuts.
Carson - Insipid. Slothlike. Kind. Accurate. Give him a ticket home until he can run the VA or FDA
Cruz - Oily. ObamaTRADE, that he help get to vote, signed the day of debate.
Rubio - Washed up and wilted under Christie. Well memorized sentence said robot-like.
Kasich - Lost in space. Truly in the wrong party, as he admits.
Bush - Someone call his Mommy to take him home. Not all his sentences were coherent.
Audience: Clearly rigged for, and by, RINOs. Mr. Trump was reportedly given 2 dozen tickets.

Hilarious. Red State has made themselves moot with their blatant dishonesty.

It’s Red State they love Cruz and Bush and filter all their opinions thusly.
To: GodGunsGuts
Was he even there? Oh, yes, I remember, he apologized to Ben Carson.

Nailed it. Cruz was the only one that looked and sounded presidential. Trump and Carson were also terribly unprepared and lacking in depth. They sounded like they were writing an essay question on the final exam without ever having cracked a book open all semester.
I have no idea how anyone could be satisfied with Trump’s empty “we’re going to win, win, win” sloganeering at this point. He doesn’t even have enough depth to run for class president.
Christie’s non-stop “I’m good because I’m a governor and I have to do things” meme is so old and worn-out by now. And utterly meaningless. We need to know what his beliefs are. How does prattling on about how he’s a governor distinguish him from, say, all the Democrat governors out there?

You missed his McCain theory of torture and waterboarding. Trump had the answer of the year on that one.

You didn't just drink the CruzKoolAid, you snorted it straight from the envelope. Trump prevailed by virtue of his refusing to back down from the stacked deck in the audience full of donor puppets cheering for Jebuardo even if only when picking his nose, if there was a winner (or close 2nd), it was probably Christie who blew Marco's boat out of the water.
Marco Rubio could be heard whimpering afterwards to Christie,
"you sank my battleship widdle row boat!"

Yes, they tried to ignore him in the middle, but everybody was so busy either trying to take each other out, or looking like a bully, or being booed, that Ted benefitted by being left out of the fracas. But when Ted was asked question, his answers were by far the most detailed, commanding, and presidential of the bunch.

That was his worst answer of the night
