Eagle Forum has published a memo detailing Marco Rubio's lies to conservatives in his effort to get Chuck Schumer's immigration bill passed. "Lies" is a strong word, but it's the only word that fits. This wasn't the natural trimming of politicians, like Rubio's justification of sugar subsidies in the service of his financial patrons the Fanjul brothers. From Cicero to Reagan, all successful politicians engage in misdirection or exploit ambiguity (including all the other current Republican hopefuls). In this case, though, Rubio led a Clintonian campaign of calculated falsehoods designed to sell Schumer's Gang of Eight bill to conservatives.

Yes, Fox carrying water the GOPe - who have finally admitted Lil’ Jebbie can’t win it - now turning to Rubio - and gave FOX and the rest of the media the word.
They are ALL scared to death of Cruz. Trump’s mantra: “No one in Washington likes Cruz. He can’t get anything done.” - is a half truth.
They don’t like him because they can’t own him. He stands for what’s right and will not go-along-to-get-along.
That’s what we need. And as President, bet your boots he’ll get things done.... a President carries a hellava lot more power than a ‘Junior Senator.” There’s a lot of folk in DC afraid their feet are finally going to get held to the fire - might get really hot for them under a President Cruz.

Corey Lewandowski, the campaign manager for 2016 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, exposed a blatant conflict of interest on Wednesday that the Fox News Channel has been hiding for months.
Lewandowski showed how Fox News has been hiding the fact that Fox News Channel Vice President Bill Sammon has a daughter working for the campaign of the Washington establishment-backed Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL).
Sammon’s daughter, Brooke Sammon, is Rubio’s national press secretary, and obviously both have a vested interest in the success of the Rubio campaign and the demise of the other campaigns.
CNN’s Erin Burnett asked Lewandowski about Fox News’s controversial anti-Trump statement from Tuesday evening—and specifically the network’s claim that the top Trump aide had allegedly made threats against Fox News anchor and Thursday debate co-moderator Megyn Kelly—when he responded by dropping the explosive revelation.
Lewandowski revealed two things for the first time: that the executive he was discussing matters with was Bill Sammon, and that Sammon’s daughter Brooke Sammon works for Rubio’s campaign, giving the first-term Floridian Senator an obvious boost. That blatant conflict of interest has never before been disclosed to the viewers of Fox News by the network.
“Not only did I not make threats, but the conversation with the Fox News executive—his daughter works for the Rubio campaign, he’s one of the executives on Fox that writes the debate questions so maybe he has his own ulterior motives, I’m not sure,” Lewandowski told Burnett in the Wednesday evening CNN interview. He went on:

“Lying to conservatives” is something that conservatives don’t seem to mind that much.
He is good at “memorized” replies, but he is so quick that I can’t remember what he is saying.

Rudio—a slick political person—long ago sold his soul. Its good to compare him to Obama—another sneaky Political Type. He would be a disaster. He would keep open the border and be Obama’s 3rd Term.
He should not be at all involved in writing debate questions.
I know what you mean. Some of us are wondering just what is the explanation for his robotic answers.
We need someone who will treat the Washington Cartel like Sherman did Dixie. A line I hope Cruz uses during the SEC primary! The Cartel knows this and will do everything they can to stop him. So he might as well be up front, reap the full benefits from the mad as hell at Washington electorate and arrive with their mandate.
Nor should he be near to or privy to the questions until the candidates get the questions.
I found one good article. Haven't searched to see if it's been posted before. It might be a good one for a thread later, but not tonight because of the debate.
