Excerpted KANAB — Most of the people who came to the funeral of LaVoy Finicum didn't know the Arizona rancher personally.
They came anyway, in trucks and campers and caravans, drawn either by kinship with the Finicum family or by sympathy for the cause that took him to rural Oregon.
The Arizona rancher was one of the most recognizable faces of the armed standoff in Oregon, where a group of protesters seized the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in early January to protest what they said was federal overreach into Western rangelands.
Finicum was shot dead by police on Jan. 26 in a confrontation that has inflamed the divide between supporters of the standoff and law enforcement officials.
Roughly 1,000 people packed into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building Friday for the funeral service, spilling over into the classrooms and hallways.
Cliven Bundy — a prominent Nevada rancher whose longstanding dispute with the Bureau of Land Management flared up into a standoff in 2014 — joined the Finicum Family.

She also bristled at reports that characterized her father as a militant or extremist.
"Our father … has been called many names by the world," Tenney said, her voice rising in anger. "But I'll tell you what we call him. We call him Daddy."
After the service, six men carried out Finicum's body in a plain pine box and loaded it into a hearse. Dozens of riders on horseback followed."

LaVoy Finicum was guilty of Civil Disobedience and teaching the Constitution. For this he was killed. The FBI and other authorities met with LaVoy and Amon Bundy on numerous occasions when they were unarmed. They didn't want to arrest them without a shot fired. Think about that, they set the situation up that occurred. Snipers in the woods, drones in the sky, setting up a roadblock and herding the group into a trap.
They terrorized 3 innocent people in the vehicle, by firing over 100 rounds into it. On top of this, they filmed the whole incident and are trying to justify their actions.
It has come to a time in America where we the people fear our government with good reason. Numerous people tried to talk us out of going to the funeral. Saying, you will be marked, you know the FBI is labeling anyone who supports this as a domestic terrorist. People genuinely felt we put ourselves at risk by attending the funeral for an American Patriot.
Are you OK with this? Or will you stand with the Finicum family and Demand Justice?
We don’t seem to have much justice today, only Calvinball and a pecking order of huge get out of jail free cards for certain segments of society.
Finicum would not have met this kind of fate if he were a black person, even if the reason was the BLM’s own Calvinball. When justice and even mere human consideration wanes, is it any surprise that the game becomes any port in the storm? Who is going to give up any selfish advantage?
I take it the chap was probably Mormon. What will be next, MLM? (Mormon Lives Matter?) I say it not unsympathetically even though I most distinctly disagree with many Mormon doctrines. This is an issue that transcends that.
Yes, anyone at the funeral at the very least put themselves on a watch list. The hateful thug in our White House despises Jews, Christians, patriots, whites, and anyone who refuses to bow to hiss greatness and to socialism's historical inevitability. So long as the bigot from Kenya/Indonesia/Hawaii/Chicago is in power, all decent people are at risk.
The whole thing has turned cynical.
Not even the Feds are interested in justice; they are interested in projecting control.
This is how far down the rabbit hole the Obama administration has plunged us. It’s so bad that even Bernie Sanders would probably represent a respite, let alone any of the major GOP hopefuls (and Trump vs. Cruz looks like the tastes great/less filling debate at this point).

Well I believe a wise answer would be first to get on their knees and pray to Christ for help, and then second probably to get political. Find someone who is willing to end the Federal Calvinball game and boost their campaign. I don’t suggest Hillary, whoever gets chosen — she’s treacherous.
Think of this: The FBI and the OSP brought out armies of men to make an example of the people who settled The West; men who are such cowards they refuse to identify themselves, and doublecross people because they think they are above them in society.
Yet every day foreigners flood across our borders, armed and violent, take up residence on our land, demand public services that cost us money, and do violence to our laws and Republic.
What does the Oh-So-Law-Abiding FBI do about that?
Runs guns to them. Takes a hands off attitude, because *gasp* we couldn’t be mean to people of another country. Tens of millions of armed aliens in our country, and do they get shot? No. If they put half the effort on the border that they did to the Bundy protest, there would be 10 dead every day in Arizona.
So they only attack the people they supposedly work for.
Had this been 1770 the outcome would have been far different.
Who are these men to tell us that the land is theirs, like the English aristocrats that we rebelled against?
I can say one thing: I think a President Trump would keep them on mission. He’s as serious as a heart operation about this.
Cruz talks like he wants to do that too. I’d hope he would, and wouldn’t bow to compromising interests. Normal politics has a very siren song.
That's all he is. An alien bigot, bent on vengeance against Whitey.

And frankly... I’d look to see who put them up to this. In a rough parallel to the failed rescue attempt that Jimmy Carter attempted for the American hostages, the FBI might already have advised Barack that this approach is asking for scandal and he might have replied that if this is bleeping scandal let us make the bleeping most of it.

Trump brought up the central issue: immigration and who are we?
It is hatred of other Americans that motivates the people in the government today. Basically, starting from about the mid-60’s, the government started seeing the citizenry as the problem.
So they began to see their role as keeping an eye on us, because we were Evil and Dangerous for being racist, rebellious, and most importantly, way too independent.
Translation: they run the plantation, and the slaves (us) be gettin’ uppity.
They’re Communists. Communism is about State ownership of the means of production, right? Land is productive: that’s the point of the Bundy’s and the Cox’s and the Finicum’s and the Hammonds.
So that’s what this is about: the Communists from D.C. want the proles to understand that they own nothing, that their lives are forfeit whenever the Party in DC decides it, that any attempt to overturn that reality will be met with firepower bought and paid for by the rest of us.
I would hope that Trump, as a major property holder would understand that and a) dismantle it, and b) keep them on mission as you say, because in the end, foreign occupation of our country is also about property rights. Trump’s history in the one issue of Eminent Domain makes that uncertain, but I believe he can be convinced. Maybe I’m projecting on that point, but compared to everything else he’s right on, it’s not a major concern.
Cruz says all the right things. He’s done enormous good in the Senate and stood up to the backstabbers who took our votes and sold themselves to the lobbyists. On that alone he should be President.
But Trump is the guy with the money, name and qualifications to really get it done: he doesn’t have to be nice to anyone. Could we convince him to say, The West needs to be turned over to the People, for productive land use? I think so. That’s been his business for 40 years. Don’t think he sees empty dirt as some sort of museum like the frozen faced Stalinists of the Dept. of the Interior.
Notice how this questionable Officer Involved Killing hasn’t been investigated by the Watchdog Press?
IMHO it was nothing more than a Public Execution, but the Victim was not on the correct Political side of the equation and is apparently the wrong Color to boot.
and all under the cover of civil rights.
I believe this could be the shot heard round the world. The Press is putting all Americans at risk with their negligence in telling the facts on this story and many others.
