Picture taken Nov. 15, 2009, in Sanibel, Florida in the Andrews home at fundraiser they hosted for Marco Rubio, when nobody gave Rubio any chance to defeat Charlie Crist. Phyllis Schlafly made a special trip to Florida, at Pat Andrew's request, to headline the event.

Phyllis Schlafly is a retired American constitutional lawyer, conservative activist, author, and speaker and founder of the Eagle Forum. She has led the conservative movement for 50 years. Schlafly came to national attention when millions of copies of her self-published book, A Choice, Not an Echo, were distributed in support of Goldwater's 1964 presidential campaign.

Phyllis Schlafly was the first major conservative to endorse Marco Rubio for US Senator over Governor Charlie Crist.

Yesterday Phyllis Shlafly said freshman Senator Marco Rubio should be disqualified from the presidential race for lying to conservatives in English and saying something entirely different on Spanish language television.

Schlafly released a 15 page "Rubio Betrayal Memo" Friday to denounce Rubio's actions as US Senator. Check Eagle Forum for updates.

The memo begins with this-

The debate moderators will ignore it. Unless it’s brought up by someone it will not be mentioned.

What’s the deal with Rubio’s brother-in-law, Wikipedia makes him sound connected to narcotics trafficking?

Phyllis Schlafyu is a REAL CONSERVATIVE.

She gets it and ha the right credentials.

Rubio is a fraud.

The fact that Rush Limbaugh is backing Rubio is all the reason to tune him out. Rush has become either stupid or compromised. You decided.

For the record, Rush carried W Bush water the entire time. Rush LOVED Karl Rove. Rush said if we elect a Republican congress, then we can stop Obamacare and the Obama Agenda.

Perhaps Rush means well, but his advise on who to elect is horrible at best. It always fails. Rush is better about talking about the issues of the day.

Rush also said Rubio was a young freshman senator and “stumbled” into the Gang of Eight without knowing what he was doing. (That makes him perfectly eligible to be president 2 years later?) Rush has not been objective ever since Trump tweeted that Rush is fantastic. Now he’s gone overboard to show that he is NOT endorsing anyone yet promotes anyone but Trump. (ahem)

Thanks for the Breitbart link to Phyllis Shlafly article that states plainly:

Schlafly's view, Trump stands in stark contrast to these candidates who put the interests of foreign citizens and global corporations above the interests of the American people. Schlafly explained that Trump's America First platform on the critical issues of immigration and trade sets him up as true enemy of the Establishment--or "Kingmakers"--and, as such, he is the only candidate who cannot be co-opted by them.

"I don't think he'll make inroads with the Kingmaker types--that is--the big business [types]," Schlafly said. "Because he's not doing what he's told [Schlafly chuckles]. They like people to do what they're told."

Breitbart followed up: "And you think all of the other candidates will just do what they're told? "I do," Schlafly said.

I’ll support any GOP candidate that’s running in the primary EXCEPT Marco Rubio.

Seem to remember something about that. However, this was before I began listening to Rush. Never watched his TV show nor listened to his radio program. That is, not until the MFM was recalled from the southern tropical regions (covering the Pope’s visit) and high tailed it back to DC to cover the escapades of Slick Willie and the mean adventures of this southern politician. From that point there has seldom been a day when at least a portion of his radio program has not been heard. Then the wise man married. Since then the edge dulled. Not that I wish him ill. He is happy in his newfound partnership and deserves the pleasure. Do miss his thought impact of old. If not the marriage, perhaps his close brush with health complications brought his senses forefront...remember that? vacay in Hawaii, landed in the hospital there for tests. Not until several weeks later was he back on radio broadcasts.

Rush is a D.C. establishment insider. And this is going back decades.

The sooner folks get it, the better.

The person who wrote this memo to Schlafly is confused.
Rubio has said that anyone here illegally must wait 10yrs before they can apply for a green card. They will not be eligible for federal funding of any kind during this 10 year period.

Apparently you are the one that is confused. A major theme of that article is that there is a huge difference between what Rubio says and the reality/truth. The likelihood that any of those "10 year" hoops that Rubio claims will be put in place on that pathway to citizenship is as solid as the 2010 Rubio assurances that he opposed amnesty.
