Poor Momma GHO has had a soggy past 24 hours but at least it’s been fairly warm. That pesky squirrel was taunting fate again this afternoon. Once those eggs hatch, it’s probably going to end up as a snack for the owlets.
I’m playing one of the video segments of the Decorah nests to see what I missed this afternoon. Didn’t get much computer time to check on the eagles today. Glad they have those videos for days like that.
I just checked and the eagle nest looked like it was full of snow that hadn’t been disturbed. Of course, it could be the nesting material that just looks like that in the infrared light source.
Mama owl just looks like she’d love to have those babies hatched already! LOL!
