I’m going to run some of the cheerier movements from the concerts. I’ve identified 11 pieces that aren’t heavy or stressful.
Funny you mention that.
That night at Nick's I shared a table with the bass player's girl friend (a photographer from Denton), later I drove up to see her and bought a picture of Joe performing that night.
Years later Joe was in town (I was now in California), I went to the show, (brought the picture with me) and started a conversation with the roadie selling CD's. Told him about the picture, left it with him along with my card.
Three months later I get a call from Joe on my cell phone, spoke to him for about twenty minutes, explained the picture, (he remembered that night because the Stones had played at the Cotton Bowl where Carl Perkins had opened for them).
He signed and returned the picture to me. Real nice of him to do that.

Vacation? What’s that?
We do have a friend who was kind enough to take care of the kiddos twice last year so we could go to FL, where my dad lived. The first trip was a banshee run - left on a Tues. and came home on Thurs. with one day to visit my dad in the hospital. A couple of weeks later, we went back for his funeral.
She didn’t want us to pay her but that was NOT going to happen. We took good care of her. :)
But we don’t want to push it. It’s a 25 mile round trip twice a day for her and that’s asking a lot. But I’m forever grateful she gave me a chance to see Dad that one last time, and to say goodbye so soon afterwards.
But ya know what? While we were gone, I kept looking forward to getting back home. There’s really no desire to go off somewhere else. Hubby said he feels the same way.
So that cats haven’t been a holdup on vacations. WE have. LOL
Hurrah...can’t wait for Saturday! Good evening, Sand...((HUGS))
