Cruz's response to Trump's statements reveal the core problem of his candidacy. He is wonderful at preaching to the converted. If you already agree with him and like him, you'll be a huge fan of whatever he says and be fired up.

His problem is that he alienates everyone who doesn't agree with him, or who crosses his path in any way. His ability to convert/persuade most people is minimal.

It's what he did in the Senate, and it's what he's doing in this race. And when he has to convince a majority of a nation that is much less conservative than he is to vote for him in a general election, that is a real problem.

I agree with Ted. I like a lot, a whole lot about Donald, but these Twitter Tangents, and tirades he goes on are making him look unpredictable and unbalanced, seriously unbalanced.
This impression was not helped by Donald bring Sarah back to the front. Something has changed about her. She seems brittle and a bit shallow this go round. Sarah’s arguments and opinions seem very subjective and myopic: Blaming Obama for her son’s PTSD, calling her former protege (Cruz) a dirty liar.
