Rick Santorum had one job to do in his appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Thursday. He failed.
The former Pennsylvania senator, who dropped his presidential bid Wednesday, told co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski he is supporting Marco Rubio's presidential campaign because the Florida senator is someone "who can work together with people." But Santorum struggled to name one accomplishment Rubio has had in the Senate.
"He's been in the Senate for four years," Scarborough noted. "Can you name his top accomplishment in the Senate - actually working in the Senate doing something that tilted your decision to Marco Rubio?"

“The GOPe love gay politicians like Rubio because of the endless blackmail opportunities.”
They also love the ones hurting for $$$....easy to control and blackmail. Rubio was handpicked for this by the same people who own Ryan. Grover Norquist and Cesar Conda.
I have more personal wealth than Rubio has! Rubio is a loser and has a history of not being able to handle $.
Forbes’ 2016 Presidential Candidate Wealth List
Net worth Rubio $100,000
Florida senator has a house, boat, kids college plans and lots of debt
UP FOR SALE!!
Greta post! Thank you for exposing the Rubio Estbalishment Fraud.
And Obama was able to lose his gay lip but Rubio still has one.
Oh wait, what he does and has said doesn't matter. What's today's flavor? Cruz is a Canadian? Stole Iowa? Carson is a great man after I told everyone he was pathological?
How about Jimmy Carter backdoor endorsing Trump? Does that get your motor revving?
You must cut and paste. Original thought is nowhere to be found.
“easy to control and blackmail...”
He’s the perfect candidate for backers who DO have a lot of money and power. They’d be able to make him sing and dance just like the ones who own Obama can.
That’s the plan!
See who owns Rubio.

Well, no, for the same reason he can't (for example) name any brands of cookie that are actually made by elves.
The stories I've heard all involve women. Either way, he has enough skeletons in his closet to film a remake of Jason and the Argonauts.
“What a lousy reason. Bill Clinton was âsmooth,â too.”
It was joke, mocking Megyn Kelly.
I haven't seen this with Rubio.
I’m listening to Mike Gallagher show with substitute host Mike Cintak (spelling?) which gives a good rundown on current events. At noon, I’m turning off Dennis Prager’s show and Michael Medved at 3 because of their cheerleading for Trump’s fall and anybody but Trump.
I could answer that in three words: GANG OF 8 (and that failed)
The one bill Cruz passed was fine, but essentially window dressing because it was noncontroversial. Rubio’s bill that killed the Obamacare risk corrider subsidy program was big, and looming even bigger now that more and more insurance companies are announcing losses due to Obamacare.
Thank You!
No soup for him!
Chairman of the subcommittee on the Oversight, Agency Action, Federal Rights and Federal Courts, U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.

Yep, just been sitting on his hands.
Of course Cruzâs biggest backers are NY gays. As long as they are conservative!
Pretty sure Trump likes women. Sure, he likes to recycle them as soon as they’re too old!
Cruz is married with two kids. So unless you know for a fact Cruz doesn’t like women, and by your statement you were “pretty sure” not Trump likes women. Why not stick to the facts?
Oh I forgot you’re from TN, (facts = a thing that is indisputably the case)
Rubio is married too.
For that matter so is Obama.
Trump isn’t making gay marriage an election platform, but he did say “gay marriage is not my thing.”
Cruz raised money from NY Gays and and I read something this week that his biggest financial backer is very pro-gay.
Rubio has the rumors swirling around him, though I don’t know how substantiated if at all.
But I’m just saying. The gay media will support whoever is on their side. They supported Romney because Romney had named gay activists to the judicial bench and called for the boy scouts to allow gays.
And so a bunch of stuff that happened outside the senate 15 years ago....and a bunch of seats on Senate committees...
Is going to be the thing people actually vote on?
THAT IS NOT A RECORD. Those are just a list of titles that virtually every senator can stick on a card.
Now put that up against Hillary who has been involved with government for 40 years. First lady of Arkansas, and of the U.S.. Senator from New York, Sec. of State, 2nd run for the presidency. Involved in likely many Senate committees too. Had all types of foundation and charity work. Met with numerous world leaders over 20 years.
Now you are ready to type “But, but she sucked at all of that”, right?
Well you go to John Q. Public and put up easy to sell positions shes had for 40 years to some guy you’ve never heard of touting a bunch of gibberish senate committee seats, authoring 80+ SCOTUS briefs (as if anyone cares), working at a university, Solicitor General of Texas (again, so?)....not to mention working for George W. Bush (good luck with that), and you seriously think that is a RECORD that anyone other than his hardest fans and a few talk radio hosts give 2 s*its about?
The average voter isnt hiring him to teach law at the local community college, so you guys are going to have to find something relatable to everyday people.
This is like the 3-4th post of this stuff and still no one can list a thing that you can package to voters and not put them to sleep.
