One of the things that has troubled me the most about Donald Trump is his lack of emotional maturity. Unlike with a reality TV show host, it is vital that the president of the United States be grown up and mature. But Trump, time and time again, acts like a child, name-calling, holding grudges, and crying when things don't go his way.
Case in point: the Iowa caucuses. On election night Trump grudgingly congratulated Ted Cruz. But now he's saying that Cruz "stole" the Iowa caucuses by repeating a news report that Ben Carson was about to leave the presidential race (which, by the way, may well be true - how many candidates do you know right now who have flown all the way home to "pick up some more clothes"?). Here's what Trump tweeted:

The emotional angle is that Trump is acting like a crybaby. At first he said he was "honored" to be in second. He even said he would buy a farm in Iowa. Then he said he hadn't really tried very hard in Iowa. Now he's saying that because Cruz supposedly said untrue things about him, the whole process wasn't "fair." (Actually, Trump was in favor of single-payer and was long in favor of partial-birth abortion, so those statements were quite true.)

I can see the child in him, having grown up always getting his way. petulant. Not suited for POTUS.

Wrong headline it should read “What does all his LYING in Iowa say about CRUZ’s character.”

Cruz is shifty. I don’t trust him. That Obamatrade is going to destroy us and if it wasn’t for Cruz and his voting for cloture, the democrats would have killed it. The Corker bill too, that made the Iran deal possible. Then he has a rally against it. He goes on fox and complains about it. Typical politician.
Donald Trump: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
The Good:
"... Trump has shown that voters like it when Republicans don't act as though they have to be afraid of telling the truth, in harsh terms, about Democrats. That's why his stand on immigration gained so much attention; he was using Democrat-style rhetoric, but he was a putative Republican.
What the "intelligentsia" miss when they talk about Trump is that real people will be polite at first, but after they've been insulted over and over again, they want to take off the gloves and tell the guttersnipes who've been insulting them what they think.....
The Bad:
As far as anyone can tell, Trump doesn't really have a set of core beliefs.
He flips and flops on issues to the extent that it's possible for comedian Stephen Colbert to make a Trump vs. Trump debate video.
While the reality is that politicians can and do change their mind on issues it's usually on a time scale greater than a few weeks. Yet at the same time he's declaring that he's become pro-life - and we should trust him on that - Trump says that his sister, the judge who ruled that partial-birth abortion is legal, would make a great Supreme Court justice.....
The Ugly:
The ugly aspect of Trump is his willingness to hurt others to achieve his goals.
Lots of "little" people were hurt in his four bankruptcies while he continued to live a lavish lifestyle. Trump says that his ripping off the average Joe and Jane, whom he didn't pay what he owed, demonstrates his good business sense......
.....Trump's own words and actions have shown that he's very comfortable with crony capitalism, where the power of government helps the businesses that are nice to the incumbents, such as with ethanol subsidies.
Trump's name-calling is a sign of a vindictive and insecure person - a real bully, not the fake ones that liberals always whine about. It's one thing to call Hillary anti-woman after she'd falsely accused Republicans of being anti-woman. It's another to attack other Republican candidates with names. Even worse, Trump has no problem using Democrat attacks on Cruz.
It's clear that Trump's first loyalty is to Trump.
Sadly, it appears that Trump has nothing but contempt for those good people who support him. ............
I hate twisting lying bible thumping sideways politicians with a purple passion.
Texacan nasal whines even worse.
Trump’s followers are doing their best to tamp down criticism of The Donald.
When you’ve been robbed, it’s hard to behave like a corpse.
Generally people can get pretty animated. You missed the Rove thread, I take it?
Read ‘em and weep.
Lesser of two weevils sweetheart.
Mrs. Carson was “there”, we know that.
This the kind of temperament we need dealing with world leaders - “Knock the crap out of ‘em...’

People like to say ‘Trump is so rich, he can’t be bought,,,”
Maybe not with money - - actually HE does the ‘buying’ - money (bribes) for favors, (That used to b e called ‘quid pro quo’ - and brags about it. Is this the kind of leader we need?

LISTEN to the man - he babbles - when he’s not ranting
Flip flopping is much better than having a core belief of wanting to put troops in harms way in 20 countries for cave dwellers.
Please give it a rest.
Yes Cruz did well there. The thing is, he was expected to do well there.
Iowa was Cruz’s place.
Sure talk that up. Cruz won there, but give it a rest at some point. New Hampshire is a new contest, and may be different.
That’s some opus you wiped with tonight Wife.
The thing reads at 2 Grade level.
(As opposed to 2nd grade. ha!)
The analysis is 2 Grade level, also, for the kiddie table.
Can you strain for an intellectual version of my guy, Hell on Wheels TRUMP?
PS: Trump's campaign is in no way associated with the Tricky Dick politics. Would I rather have Cruz or Trump running the US, based on the integrity of their campaigns?
Cruz's team stole votes and shamed voters to their neighbors. Trump's team raised over $6 million dollars for Veterans.
This is what you’ll get with a “President” Trump:
A commander in chief that belittles U.S. prisoners of war.
A commander in chief that likes and defends Putin - a KGP goon that shoots down domestic airliners.
A commander in chief that is in awe of Kim Jung-Un and how, at such a young age, he took charge - in such a commanding way - the brutal family dictatorship of North Korea (that closed society of starving people).
How many Americans has Jong/Putin killed and how many Americans has McCain’s undocumenteds have killed?
He looks good angry as well. It’s not like it out of character. He’s always angry and full of energy.
I get a feeling you know how to use a backhoe very well, are there many deep holes on your property?
What does Iowa’s tainted win say about Ted Cruz?
