It will be an article of faith among the Trumpkins that “Cruz cheated”. To believe otherwise would be to accept that The Donald was (gasp!) a loser! And that heresy cannot be tolerated. Any Trumpkin to accept such blasphemy would be excommunicated from the Church of the Don. So even if they proved beyond a shadow of doubt that there was no dirty tricks and that no votes were changed, the still would not accept it. It is a matter of faith and trust to them, and facts cannot be allowed to deter them.
The sTrumpets are busier ‘n a cat in a liter box excusing Trump and accusing Cruz. Can you imagine 4 years of enduring their populism, being bombarded daily with the current lists of whom to hate and whom to adore currently??? We watched the movie “The Black Book” last night and Trump and Palin remind me of Robespierre and Saint-Just.
Cruz is my first choice, and Trump has been my second choice, based on his stance on national sovereignty.
Trump is starting to wear on me, though. It seems like a simple, “congratulations Ted, see you in New Hampshire” might have been the way to go. You want to beat the other guy, but not alienate his supporters, since you’re going to need them down the road.
Actually, no one cares about Iowa anymore.
Mathematically impossible
You’d be wise to assume public communication from every campaign is calculated, part of a strategy to win.
Did Trump say that he (Trump) should have won Iowa? I don’t see that anywhere. He’s saying Cruz cheated. Which he did. Used to be Freepers got upset when a candidate cheated.
Sorelosetrump
This whole thing is just chaff, tossed out by the noise machine. Its a big part of why its such a waste to focus on whatever the media noise machine is pumping out today. Its rather like watching the weather channel. They are hyperventilating about the storm of the century and you look outside and its a fine day. Just tune them out.
By this time we pretty well know the character of the men running for office. The noise-makers want you to make you doubt what you know, but they really are really telling you who they themselves are.
The problem of Iowa isn’t one of winners, losers or placement.
The problem is that Cruz cheated.
The cheating was wrong and should be addressed.
Wah! Wah! Wah!
Call it another immigration surge of the United States' own making. But unlike last summerâs crisis of children and families arriving from Central America, lawmakers aren't quick to call on this current group of refugees to go home.
October 2014 to June 2015, about 18,520 Cubans have sought entry to the United States through Texasâ Laredo field office of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, which includes ports from Del Rio to Brownsville. Thatâs compared to the 18,240 unaccompanied minors that were caught or surrendered to U.S. Border Patrol in the Rio Grande Valley from October 2014 through July of this year, according to CBP statistics.
If current trend holds, the number of Cubans seeking entry through Laredo will be about 24,700 this fiscal year. That's about 60 percent more than 2014's 15,600 and nearly twice as many as 2013's 12,445.
The influx of Cubans to Texas is a result of the Obama administration's efforts to normalize relations with the communist Castro regime, said Marc Rosenblum, deputy director of the U.S. Immigration Policy program at the Migration Policy Institute, a Washington-based think tank.
I think some cheating was done to keep me from winning. I always win. If I don't win I don't play. I win at my casinos and I win in court.
I love court. Courts love me, even tennis courts. I build great tennis courts. Have you seen some of these women who play tennis lately? They are great, they are strong and they are fast.
You know that Chris Christie looks like he should go on a fast. Then he wouldn't have to lean on the podium to help him stand up. Or he could get a wider podium to make him look thinner. I could get him one because I make great deals. I'd get him a special podium and make the builder pay for it.
and to think that on caucus night I was wondering what trump would use to blow up the news cycle the next day.
Well, if his buddy Jimmah Carter had been there this wouldn’t have happened.
Trump’s problem is that he has some kind of mental block against the idea of accepting defeat. Always surrounded by sycophants reminding him of his awesomeness, the pain of reality biting him in the a** is more acute.
And no.. Cruz didn’t “cheat” Trump out of his assumed victory. Trump lost.
So get over it, kids.
"And the winner of the Iowa Caucus is.....Donald Trump!"
