Trumpees do not believe a constitutional expert who fought and won for the conservative cause. Wait til you see Trumpee responses! It’s like an alternate universe.

you will never convince trumpies- ever- just like they will never accept that Cruz’s campaign workers didn’t act ‘slimy’ by running with a CNN breaking report about Carson- Trumpies have fashioned such a chic looking crown of thorns and by golly they ARE going to make sure he wears it as he rests upright on a hill in Golgotha - after all, they have dibs on his cloths- They will not be denied!

English Common Law(the basis of the American legal system), the nations first immigration laws, legal and Supreme Court precedent, and the fact that Cruz never had to go through the naturalization process all say that Ted Cruz was an American citizen at the moment of his birth, and is thus a Natural Born citizen. Not to mention the immigration law in effect at the time of Cruz’s birth.

Not the SCOTUS but it'll do fine.

I’m sure John Jay and George Washington would have no problem at all with a Canadian-born guy, with a Cuban national father being President.

Similarly, I’m sure neither of them would have trouble with a couple of Cubans coming over and dropping one in Miami and having him become President.

I’m amazed at how quickly many of you drop your standards for one or two friggin people out of 300,000,000, when they don’t pass the Constitutional smell test.

Why do you use the term "birther?"

It's a term invented by the Left to disparage conservatives who question the validity of Obama's "Birth Certificate."

It's use is always derogatory.

Don't you believe in our Constitution? It defines a requirement to be President as "Natural-Born Citizen."

Anybody who believes in the Constitution is to be disparaged? I don't think so.
