Did a proposal to save a breed of poisonous snakes by giving them their own island in the Quabbin Reservoir make it all the way to the governorâs office?

But no, Gov. Baker, we donât need to be pushing self destructive feel-good projects.

At night their munching on leaves would sound like pouring rain, You couldn’t walk outside without stepping on them.
We used to collect them in bottles and blow them up with fireworks, Flame blasting their nests with hairspray and a lighter was always great fun.
I remember one afternoon amusing myself by repeatedly shoving a bunch of them into the spark plug hole of my lawnmower then starting it up.
Ahhh, fun times...
also if you tapped them just right with your sneaker they would make this loud popping noise.
