your underlying assumption is so flawed and so damned leftist that it is impossible for you and I to have a conversation about this. It’s just wrong to think Obama Care should be “replaced” - because that by definition means a government fix. Government cannot fix health care except by getting the hell out of the way, and maybe having a relatively tiny program for uninsureds with pre ex conditions that will not screw with everyone else’s health care.

The way that conservatives have proposed for years - allow high-risk pools for those with pre-existing conditions, allow catastrophic coverage policies, a public safety net for the truly needy. You have fallen into the liberal trap of assuming that everyone has the right to have health insurance - everyone has the right to health CARE, not health insurance.
They shouldn’t have insurance if they can’t afford it. They will rely on charity and welfare.
