".........Trump Nation is tired of failed transactions leaving only humiliation, disrespect, hardship, and despair. Trump Nation wants a transaction president.
Donald Trump knows transactions. Donald Trump advertises that he's not only a high stakes negotiator. Trump will save the nation in the grandest transaction yet.
It is that simple.
Just like Trump Airlines.
Recall Trump's promises in 1988 -- a lot more than a simple transaction in keeping the aging Eastern Airlines shuttle fleet flying. Trump promised luxury, convenience, style, personal touches, affinity to grandeur, and profitability.
Except for convenience, Trump delivered nothing else for which customers were willing to pay. The Trump Shuttle was a flaming financial wreck. Customers had already defected to upstart Pan Am. In desperation Trump trashed his rival, claiming Pam Am execs were losers, and Pan Am was unsafe. (Sound familiar?)
Soon enough, Donald Trump's transaction to transform the airline business was a bust. His most important transaction was confounding third party creditors in bailing out his personal guarantees.
Donald Trump's prefabricated brand is of the quintessential transactional leader. He's a master, even negotiating brilliant escape hatches when he fails.
Trump Airlines, perhaps Trump's boldest venture far removed from his core expertise, still displayed Trump's leitmotif -- engineering a brash makeover for an overvalued transaction to get into the airline game, unable to command the nuts-and-bolts knowhow needed to gain market share and stop bleeding margins, thus in desperation finally piloting a perilous landing, coaxed to the ground by Citibank controllers leaving the third party creditors, and employees, to find the exit row chutes, fending for themselves.".......

Care to be specific? I haven’t read all her posts and maybe there are some bold faced lies in there. What I have seen were (uncomfortable) facts. Anyone in the public eye as Donald Trump’s been for more than thirty years leaves a record and it seems fair to examine it. And who’s the “thief”? What did they steal? Calling someone a liar doesn’t prove they are one. This isn’t DU and there’s no need for hominem attacks against other Freepers. Not saying you have to be all tea and crumpets, just better off being specific and calm. And the same goes for anyone bridling at the stuff being thrown at Cruz.
I did not call anyone a thief I said I hate a liar and I hate a thief. As for being specific check my posts lots of specific are in it.
He was on Morning Joe this morning doubling down on his dirty trick. Just another reason not to support Cruz.
Yep! yeb? Trump?
Lawrence vs Texas was not about homosexual marriage. It was about homosexual behavior. The cited article blurs the distinction by pointing out, correctly, that the former assumes the acceptability of the latter. However the reverse relationship does not follow, revealing the logical fallacy of the attack on Cruz. One could argue that it was Cruz’s job to defend the state statute regardless of his personal opinion, and he did not, but the article makes clear that the state statute was defended, albeit unsuccessfully.
Cruz’s position is that the Federal Government has no authority to speak to marriage at all, it is a state issue, because it is not mentioned among the enumerated powers. He made this case, of all places, on Colbert’s TV program. Arguing that a behavior is morally wrong does not compel one to argue that the behavior should be a Federal crime so long as we maintain a separation of powers between states and the Federal government.
Of course many conservatives disagree, and argue that homosexual marriage should be outlawed coast to coast by Federal law. That is Santorum’s position for example. This would be a much more intellectually honest attack on Cruz’s position, but would be difficult to carry forward successfully.
I offer no theory about the financial support homosexuals have provided to Cruz, and I wonder about that myself. I remain a Cruz supporter.
Yesterday morning, FOX said this election is now about National Security.
Ya got that chumps? Immigration is off the roster since Rubio is rising.
Certainly is interesting timing, to say the least.
Cruz, mostly. So hold yer fire, Darlin’.
Good analysis
Good Post
Don’t you know its over for Trump? He has no chance to win now that Ted has 8 delegates and Rubio took third and was coronated by Fox News last night. LOL!
I’ll vote for Trump or Cruz so I ignore the venom from the zealots in both camps. They aren’t doing anyone any favors.
Thanks.
Jeb needs to head on back to Fla now and resume to grabbing frogs.
I agree it's borderline on being some what disingenuous, but it's a political ad...
I've seen a LOT worse...
Wow. That whole article was spot on and could not be disputed by any rational person.
However, the point of the article was that Trump devotees are no longer rational but have fallen under some odd spell of a very strange man.
The authors points are eerily reflected in the attitudes of posters here on Free Republic.
Frankly it is a scary and disturbing cult that I cannot join.
Trump is not worthy of your devotion.
Excuse me, but sell that song elsewhere. I’ve been here. There’s never been a day or a post that Trump people didn’t land on like flies on a carcass and trash anyone who dared to post anything lacking in worship to the Trump.
And you are gonna come on and say you all sat back like nice people for months until you just couldn’t take it anymore.
Yeah, right.
