A search shows that nobody's opened up a live thread for tonight's caucuses. So here goes.
Predictions? For both the GOP and Dem nominations?
Eyewitness Accounts? See any funny business going on?
suck maple syrup
Do you remember “Give-em Hell Harry” and what he said?
That’s all I’m doing, telling the truth.
Our presidents are supposed to be domestics, born here to our citizens. That’s all.
Weird, but thanks for the information. I had forgotten that, and another poster mentioned that question about him trailing off to be Mormon for a Minute too.
I do agree that Florida is more compatible to Catholics than Baptists.
Baptists have retreats there, Catholics actually live there.
And the Dems get to vote for two old white morons.
absolutely....
You know, I remember back when Sarah palin was running or she wasn’t or she was....and the number of people at her crowds....and I always wondered why she was deemed so unelectable when she could draw such huge crowds....but I figured she knew she she couldn’t win or else she would have ran.....
It baffled me...
What? Are you kidding? He said he's going to win the nomination, going to win the general. Why would Trump when he's 20 to 30 points ahead in nearly every state, not continue?
Iowa caucus | Results î 95.42% reporting Candidates % Delegate Strength Hillary Clinton 49.81% Bernie Sanders 49.59% Martin O'Malley 0.6%
I was just answering your question, thought it was interesting.. I wasn’t following the genesis of your question if you were debating someone..
Trump said he’s leading in New Hampshire and South Carolina by big margins and it is on to those states.
Iowa voted Santorum and Huckabee last two elections. It’s an odd state. Trump did fine.
The Fox Rubio machine really pulled this off. Most folks aren’t like us - politics every day. They look around a week or two out. Trump not going to that debate cost him points. Then Fox pumped Rubio as the big winner and had that after debate luntz thing - where Rubio just so happened to make an appearance.
Fox was a big winner with their establishment guy tonight.
They also managed to get Trump and Cruz doing big damage to each other.
.....”And without kow towing to king corn. Pretty amazing.”....
Yes it is.....Cruz really does say what he means even if people might disagree....they know he doesn’t take issues lightly . It was a good night....and hopefully Cruz will come out at the other end of all this.... Our President!...and thus so “For such a time as this”....
Just be patient. It takes time to figure out where you have to create some new votes.
actually I”m not sure if that’s republican or all together.... does anyone know obama’s numbers right off??
Fox—I went for about seven minutes—is in Glenn Beck territory now. Beck’s over the top on Cruz...and the entire Fox network is swooning over Rubio.
Now, Omally, Huckabee and Santorum have all had “mentions” for dropping out. I haven’t heard “Bush” all night.
And CNN, bless their hearts, keeps noting that .2% is a virtual TIE!

Maybe Carson will team with Cruz. Would be a good outsider team and bring Cruz some much needed minority votes.
It’s worse...Fox just closed with Rubio and after commercials are opening with Rubio.
Fair and BS
On the bright side, the extremely high turnout means lots of Iowa voters increased their “shaming score” from an F to a C
No, I agree - NH likes going for NE liberals like Trump. But I think things will tighten and his margin will not be anything like it is now.
But Beck is not pretending to be fair and balanced.... he publicly threw his support behind cruz...
Fox is a pretending to be all objective
--- Teddy Roosevelt?
I like that!
