I'm with you FRiend, if I see some scum bag throwing ANY dangerous object at my candidate, he'll be picking his teeth out of the asphalt.

MY candidate? How about ANY candidate, if I'm physically present? Right is right, wrong is wrong. Throwing things ain't right, even if you don't favor the target..

Why didn’t he just instruct them to move away so that the Secret Service could take him out with a couple of shots to the head.

Oh, sir. I saw it! Some angry member of the kitchen staff, Did you not tip them? Oh, the terrorists! They ran that way. It was a run-by fruiting. I’ll get them, sir. Don’t worry.

Yes, and I’d guess that ended tomato throwing. Protesters can usually doing so safely, being escorted out by security. Today, it suddenly got risky. ;)

>>please someone tell us he didn’t really encourage his supporters to physically assault the fruited-aholes!?<<

Check the site. He’s on video saying exactly that.

Two thoughts: 1. I wonder if he’ll also volunteer to do their jail time.

2. Now it seems that he’s even started to recruit his own brownshirts.

This is exactly where demagoguery leads, folks. Right down the sewer, along with all of our cherished rights. Vote for Trump if you must, but don’t expect the rest of us to cheer you on, or to vote for him if you make him the nominee.

And for the record, I think the tomato throwers should be arrested and charged for assault. I won’t be cheering them on either.

One more thing. People keep saying over and over that Trump has gone and done it now. This or that was supposed to have been it for him. So far, all have been wrong.

My vote goes to this 24-second clip. If that doesn’t bring people to their senses as to what sort of man we’re dealing with, then nothing will.

It will be interesting to hear the inevitable Trump defenders defend the indefensible yet again, as they no doubt will.

The word caucus is of Algomquin origin. The differences between the way democrat hold theirs and republicans is
democeats have 1000 sites Republicans about 700.
Republican and democratic candidates have assigned presentera who offer a 3 minute pitch ro the group assembled. The number of delegates are around 40 for the democrats and 30 for the republicans

The difference between the two is the style of voting after the presenters finish. Republicans use a secret ballot The democrats form groups where supporters of that candidate stand in them and rhe fun begins as depicted in your cartoon .

Do you realize that hitting Trump with a tomato would be assault?

For what it’s worth, I once happened to see Hillary acting in a, well, “crush the little people” mode. It can be very revealing of a person’s true character. This is why I was concerned about mr Trump’s statement. I wasn’t very worried about the fruited freaks

How many non-left wingers have been chased from the podium? It is about time we take back the microphone.

You don’t know what they’ve injected into those tomatoes either. I have very little sympathy for a guy that hurls an object at a candidate.

>>If I saw some jerk throwing a tomato or whatever at my candidate - yeah, I drop him to the floor like a bag of rocks without even a second thought. <<

Here’s precisely what Trump said: “So if you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them, seriously.”

Well, if you follow Mr. Trump’s advice and hammer somebody for “getting ready to throw,” you’d better be prepared to be booked for assault. Free legal fees, but I doubt Trump will serve any sentence handed down to you.

Now, restraining him is a different matter, but “drop him to the floor like a bag of rocks without a second thought...” Better to think twice on that one.

As Trump should have...

Ahh I remember when people were all up in arms when Obama told his followers to get in their neighbors’ faces and argue with them in favor of him. Now Trump is advocating violence and his followers are just fine with it.

I saw Roy Rogers give a speech at the opening of one of his fast food chains back in the 70’s. He got hit with a tomato from a protester of some sort.

He calmly wiped himself off and said how his wife, Dale, wasn’t there with him because she was busy giving speeches around the country about child abuse. And how everyone just saw an example of someone who could have used a lot more of it.

It was a memorable line that has stuck with me all these decades.
