Donald Trump leads the Republican field among federal employees, but many still say they would never work for him.
One in four federal workers would consider leaving their jobs if Trump were elected president, according to a new survey conducted by the Government Business Council, Government Executive Media Groupâs research arm. About 14 percent of respondents said they would definitely consider leaving federal service under President Trump, while an additional 11 percent said they might. The findings indicate those leaving government would come from agencies' top ranks, as a majority of respondents were in General Schedule positions GS-13 and higher.

Uh, they wouldn’t be working for him. They work for the American people.
I’m all in for Ted Cruz but this should really be a boost for Trump!!
My first thought: ... And that’s suppose to be bad news. ????? Let them resign and don’t replace them! Their bosses will all be fired!
Certainly an encouraging development.
Excellent! Do not replace them.
They pulled these numbers straight out of their A$$.
Vote Trump
Trump should put that in a campaign ad. It would get him tons of votes.
Oh please, oh PLEASE!
This fact alone should cause the public to vote for Trump. The government GS13 levels are bloated Democrat entitled people on average that have little to no knowledge of what it takes to balance a budget or make it in a capitalistic environment. Most wouldn’t know a 40 hour work week if it bit them on the butt.
Addition by subtraction
Yes indeed.
It’s long been said that 50% of the federal workforce could go missing and no one would notice.
Perhaps suburban areas in MD and VA would notice but those areas could be razed and restored to farms and ranches to bring back the beauty that once was.
That’s another “YOUUUGE” reason to vote for Trump!
Oh, wait. No production. Never mind.
These are people who are for the most part unemployable in the private sector. They are used to being coddled, overpaid, and underworked.
They aren’t going anywhere voluntarily, unfortunately.
Bullcrap. Nearly none of these employees could find similar low-intensity job requirements at such inflated salaries. But the jobs do still need to evaporate.
God Bless America. Wish it was 50%.
This would be a feature of a Trump presidency, not a bug!
But, only a fair start, really. We need to reduce the number of federal employees to about 25% of the total now, including defense.
Hopefully over-represented in the admin law judge, social worker, lawyer classes.
Answer1: Put the teeth back into the Inspector Generals, and broaden their role.
Answer2: Expand whistle blower protections, and investigate mercilessly.
