Great answer...wouldn’t expected any less.
Trunp is a degenerate strip club owner who is lying.
I like his lies too.
But I can recognize a long con when I see it.
I’m “picking on Trump” because he proposes socialist policies.
Just like I “pick on” the other GOP candidates for their socialist policies.
We’re not going to get anywhere until principles, and public policies grounded in principle, are once again the plumb line.
If we continue to participate in and help perpetuate the politics of personality, politics that is unprincipled, this free republic cannot possibly be saved. It’s simple.
If those who call themselves “conservatives” won’t lead the way back, who will?
OK, then since you seem to be completely ignorant of the workings of the insurance industry then let me be more detailed. From my standpoint why would I want to buy from them? Assuming, for the sake of argument and logic, I would not want to fly to South Dakota for all my medical needs I would have to convince my doctors, pharmacy, and local hospital to accept them as my insurer. Why should they do that? My doctors are not in the insurance company network; they have none in Missouri. There would be additional work, and costs, on my doctors part to file claims with them since it would be a unique client. Should an issue come up with the insurance company then my health care provider can't go to the Missouri state insurance department, they would have to go to the South Dakota department. So with additional costs and effort involved then why wouldn't my doctor and pharmacy and hospital tell me that they won't accept the insurance?
And then look at it from the insurance company. How much should they charge me for my insurance? Their cost structure is based on what medical care costs in South Dakota and they base their premiums on that. In all likelihood the costs for a procedure in a metro area, even a medium sized one, would be higher than it would cost in a primarily rural area like South Dakota. How do they factor that in? The insurance company has a network of healthcare organizations in South Dakota which they have negotiated with and established a fixed price for their services. They have no such organization in Missouri, and aren't likely to establish one for a single client. So they will pay a much higher price for my claims than they would for claims filed by clients in South Dakota. So where is the benefit for the insurance company? They have to go to the trouble to calculate a one-off premium for me. I'm going to cost them more on my claims. I'm going to cost them more in administrative costs. Is my business really worth it to them? Why shouldn't they look at me and say, "Thanks for your inquiry but we don't do business in Missouri?"
Where have we heard that before?
Evidently, not really, since you support Ted Cruz and his "send me money because I love Jesus" pitch.
Obama was pushing a government plan. Trump says for the majority his will be private.
The fact is Trump is winging it and has no idea how to replace Obamacare.
Everyone is a liar except Trump, who insults everyone, is a serial adulterer and strip club owner. He is the GOP’s version of Clinton, minus the sexual assaults and a few lies.
It would be nice if the opposition could settle on the charge. Upthread the claim was made that Trump wants single payer. I provided a recent quote where he says he wants the majority to have private plans. So now the goal posts are moved to the charge, he wouldn’t know how to implement that.
Trump has more managerial experience than his nearest challengers. He also has a reputation for being able to find and employ effective experts in their respective fields of specialty. If I’m going to trust someone to dismantle obamacare, I’d go with a businessman from the private sector where results are a matter of survival. I certainly wouldn’t trust a career politician. D.C. is full of them, and nothing ever changes for the good—only for the worse.
So pull the leaver and hope for the best. Thanks but no thanks.
I’m with you.
Keep in mind that I am definitely more of a Cruz supporter but, you are absolutely right, Trump is not campaigning for a Canadian style system where the states (or provinces in Canada) run the insurance system for health care.
I think Trump may have supported a Canadian style system in the past but, just like Romney, Trump seems to change his mind on a lot of issues when running for President on the GOP ticket.
Fuck Donald Chump. He can kiss my ass and my vote goodbye.
No. Cruz's tax plan sucks. It has a hidden VAT tax for business. And while we're at it, the lie after lie after lie about Trump's position on healthcare is humorous. This was brought up and spun around a while back. Same lie. Same repetitive twist. Do you think repeating it changes any minds given it's a lie. Or are the Cruz fans just bored. Trump is for private insurance for most people and coverage for the poor... but better than having the hospitals eat the cost of the poor and inflate the cost on those who do pay. This repetitive posting is nonsense.
Buh Bye!
Trump would repeal and replace obammycare with universal health care.....
“Show us where Ted Cruz has said âThe indigent will not be taken care ofâ”
Why do I have to prove the negative? You show me where he has said it will be.
And the Cruz fans are trying to sling old lies in this forum to do anything to detract from the shameless mailer!!
