I have honestly never seen a more challenged group than those who still think Trump is pushing single payer.

It’s embarrassing.

Folks, why would Trump be pushing to lower state line restrictions on insurance companies competing nationwide, if there weren’t going to be a private sector?

That is such a simple concept, and yet it’s obvious some folks don’t have the mental faculties to grasp it.

You’re dealing with them in good faith, D1- believing that they actually think what they say. They don’t. It’s a talking point.

Everything Trump says is ‘’wrong’’ because they want a different candidate.

It will be twisted & embellished & mis-portrayed until it IS wrong. Only their chosen candidate can be ‘’right’’. Even if he is actually wrong.

Your comments are a lot like those who defended Obamacare during that debate over whether or not it should be passed.

But the reality is the following:

Trump literally attacked conservatives and what we stand for over this issue at a campaign rally: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRQgAEqLUmQ&index=2&list=PLJcbhHQDR9da0H3-Qs-7WEEj6tam9vlh3

He also reiterated his stance on ‘universal healthcare’ on 60 minutes and acknowledged his views were “unRepublican”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jr5l-47lYZM&index=22&list=PLJcbhHQDR9da0H3-Qs-7WEEj6tam9vlh3

Funny Truno;s website has no position stated on healthcare. Why is that?

He has made public statements about supporting UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE that the government would pay for.

Doughty you know I love ya, but we're all guessing what some guy is going to do if he gets elected and you insult the intelligence of fellow FReepers who guess differently. Why alienate your FRiends?

You (Trump's) simple solution sounds like move water from the deep end of the pool to the shallow end to prevent flooding and even things up. You're right I don't get it.

IMHO we are in free fall toward single payer no matter who wins. It was by design. We've been stabbed in the back. I don't know how we can stop it or fix it becuase we can't change the laws of physics or markets.

Maybe we can pass a constitutional amendment that forbids any government involvement ant any level anywhwere in insurance or healthcare. Otherwise they are taking all the power.
