The statistics I read were for 2014-Maine would have to have received a ton to beat MN. To put it in perspective:
You stated that Nashville (population over 630,000)has 5000 Somalians.
Willmar, MN (population 19,000) has over 5,000 Somalians. There are more in Mankato, St. Peter, St. Cloud, Minneapolis, etc.
For whatever reason - I’m guessing Lutheran social services and other “church charities” - a huge percentage end up here.
