Republican front-runner Donald Trump has the highest unfavorable ratings of any presidential candidate in either party in the 2016 field, a Gallup poll released Saturday found.
Sixty percent of those surveyed gave the business mogul unfavorable ratings, while a third said they viewed him favorably, for a net favorability rating of -27.
Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Jeb Bush are tied for second-lowest net favorability ratings with -10 each.
Among other Republican candidates, Bush's 45 percent unfavorable rating is the next-worst after Trump.
Following him are Chris Christie at 38 percent, Ted Cruz at 37 percent, Marco Rubio at 33 percent and Ben Carson at 30 percent.
Clinton's unfavorable rating is 52 percent. Democratic presidential rival Bernie Sanders' is 31 percent.
The numbers pose a striking contrast to the fact that Trump dominates the Republican field in polls nationally and in most early-voting states.
He didn’t have anything policy wise to challenge Cruz on so he just channeled his inner child.

For all who disparage the polls...why is trump always spouting out how good he is in the polls?

Nah Trump will destroy her. I think her drop in the polls recently was a direct result of Trump dumping on Bill Clinton, although MSM would never admit that.

So if Cruz doesn’t win the GOP nomination but Trump does you will not vote for him? C’mon-— thats the same mentality that gave us OblahMao in 2012 vs RINO Mittens but wouldn’t Romney be a far better choice than the Kenyan? Unless its George Washington or Ronald Reagan running I’m not looking for a purist candidate— they are extremely rare and thats the unfortunate reality.
100% will love him by November. His favorables have already gone up. It will be a massive victory!

Wait... Did you read his position paper on 2d amendment? He is straightforward and committed his position in writing. Thus far he has published papers only in several issues, including tax policy, 2d amendment and immigration. In laymans language.
