Walid Shoebat was a Muslim. A lot of our information about how to understand Muslim taqiyya is from people who used to be Muslim. I wish I knew what made them able to reverse course. I think probably the Holy Spirit. I understand the concern for self-defense but I think we also need to be praying for all the potential “Shoebats” too.
