... a President Cruz or a President Rubio would, in the end, do exactly what Big Business wanted, and screw the Christians -- not because they have anything against Christians, but because they know who calls the shots in the GOP.

I don't necessarily disagree with this statement, but I'm scratching my head over one thing:

Why would the author assume that the only "big businessman" in the GOP race -- who has spent a career cutting deals with politicians from everywhere along the political spectrum -- would act any differently?
