Don’t Worry, Jeff Sessions, Trump Will Still Respect You in the Morning
RedState ^ | January 28th, 2016 | By: Leon H. Wolf

Jeff Sessions has never really been accused of being the brightest person in the Senate, but if you are someone who values a strong fighter against illegal immigration, then Sessions has been a valuable fighter for your issues. Now, in spite of years of fighting alongside Ted Cruz, whose efforts to defeat amnesty Sessions has repeatedly praised, Sessions appears set to endorse Donald Trump.

This news comes after Trump has spent the last week turning his back on everything he stood for at the beginning of his campaign, specifically promising to cut deals with Pelosi and Schumer, and admitting that he really only plans to wall off “about 1000″ miles of the U.S. border since the other 1000 has natural barriers – in other words, the exact same amount of wall that is supposed to already exist under United States law.

Thank you, Bob, for the info. Redstate and Politico are exposed as collapsing, unable to read the state of our country and the extent of the determination out here to Make America Great Again.

Free Republic has lead the way with RESISTANCE and knowing the right candidate to bring it, and except for the occasional scream of the goats, around here, FR will continue to lead resistance and do so with patriots of consequence.

TRUMP 2016

RedState has long been associated with conservative commentator Erick Erickson, who even boasted that “RedState is me and I am RedState” in the statement he issued when he stepped down as the site’s editor-in-chief last October.

Erick Erickson specifically named Wolf as his successor, referring to the little-known writer as RedState’s “house snapping turtle.”

“Once he latches on to something, he does not let go until he gets resolution or hears thunder. But rarely has he been wrong,” Erickson said of Wolf.

According to that article, RedState is in decline, shrinking web traffic.

Trump wasn’t that involved in politics and certainly not in congress when he said hipster things about immigration reform. Wolf and Erickson were already schooled on it and still pushed it.

Trump never fired someone for holding “rightwing views”. Leon Wolf did which is why Daniel Horowitz posts on the much better Conservative Review.

Erickson also defended Liz Mair Walker’s fired feminazi amnesty pusher.

http://www.npr.org/sections/itsallpolitics/2013/04/17/177640184/immigration-proves-a-rubiks-cube-for-many-republicans

“I think the Tom Tancredo days within the party are over,” says conservative radio host Erick Erickson, who also runs the blog RedState, “if only because of the shell-shock results of 2012 that the base has had to suffer through.”

Erickson says this time around many groups that were previously against an immigration overhaul have changed their minds — such as “some of the local Chambers of Commerce that have been suspicious in the past, some of the Tea Party groups.”

http://www.redstate.com/2014/06/11/toxicity-immigration-rhetoric/

“. A poor example of that would be this piece by my colleague Daniel Horowitz which addresses at least arguably a real issue, but cloaked in so much rhetoric that rises immediately to the level of 11 that it gives the very clear impression that Central American kids who cross the border without their parents should be left to starve. Calling supporters of immigration reform by Spanish names as an insult as some did a la “Jorge Arbusto” or “Juan McCain” is – let’s say less than helpful insensitivity at best and a “tell” of pretty strong racial biases at worst. “

I am sure he will come up with something, He would have the wholehearted support of the American people. It is a national security issue.

Who is Wolf?

I think he’s the enforcer mod at RedState among other things. They ALWAYS had an ‘agree with Erick’ rule.

I’m not kidding. You either did or you soft-pedaled whatever you said, or you were booted. I tried to comment, and my very first time I got warned about being some kind of ‘bot’ or another. I forget who I was talking about. It was a long while back.

But, in Erick’s world you are either an Erick’ite or you are a troll. Period.

Erick showed his true colors with the lie about Kelly’s menstrual cycle. Every comment he made was “Trump said Kelly menstruation was an issue in the debate.”

The guy is a liar, and my memory says Wolf was one of his enforcers. There are probably ghost writers in the background.

Sessions already had sent his right hand man to TRUMP, from his senate research team, so the writing was on the wall.

Jeff Sessions, President of the Senate

Works for me, should Trump close the deal.

Jeff Sessions has southern drawl. He must be an idiot.

Erick Erickson has a girly man soutern drawl. He must be sophisticated.

Mickey Kaus the California liberal, immigration restrictionist has pointed out from time to time people try to attack Jeff as a hick.

What in the hell is up with this guy? He publishes like four anti-Trump screeds a day . . .

Yep....wonder how much Cheap Labor/PAC $$ is flowing into these Salem Communications outlets (RedState, Townhall, HotAir, HumanEvents). They are on a full-bore anti-Trump role.

I love Jeff Sessions but his endorsement of Trump won’t change my opinion of Trump or Sessions.

Cruz!

And places like Red State call Trump supporters a cult?

Not to mention a few FReepers that parrot that line.

Now, in spite of years of fighting alongside Ted Cruz, whose efforts to defeat amnesty Sessions has repeatedly praised, Sessions appears set to endorse Donald Trump.

Quite a bit of exaggeration there since Cruz has only been in the Senate since 2012 and the most contentious amnesty battles took place in 2006 and 2007. 2013 was another battle, but it passed the Senate pretty easily, then languished in the House for a full year before it was abandoned after Cantor's defeat.

Jeff Sessions has never really been accused of being the brightest person in the Senate,

What a pointless cheap shot. I bet Lean H. Wolf has never been accused of being the brightest person in any group, but probably has been accused of being the biggest a***ole.

“Jeff Sessions has never really been accused of being the brightest person in the Senate”

Oh, brother. This reminds me of why that site is on my “do not read” list. I can’t imagine anyone would accuse the writers at Red State of being the brightest commentators on the Internet.

I used to stop at Red State as a regular visitor. I know, you guys never thought Eric Erickson was a "real" conservative; but, I liked the site.

Erick left a few weeks ago, and in that time, that website has gone completely bonkers with this Leon Wolf guy.

I swear, on Monday every article on the site was some reason why you shouldn't vote for Trump. Or some story about how Trump is the most awful person ever born on the planet. I know, you think I'm exaggerating; but, it really was one article after another dissing Trump.

I decided, a few days after that when, it didn't get worse; but, it didn't get much better either that I would remove it from my "go to" menu. So, when I saw his name on this article, I knew before even reading it what it would be like. I am still amazed at how quickly this site became completely unreadable for me.
