By all accounts, Cruz had a very rough night. Rubio came out much better.

You don’t know much about Cruz’s resume, I suppose. He’s been quite effective at every level. I guess winning cases in front of the Supreme Court is easy. I’d like to hear your thoughts on what other Senators have accomplished in the past four years that eclipse what Cruz has done. As a member of a minority Senate party, what exactly is considered ‘doing something’?

Cruz never entered the fight, so he can’t run away. He rode behind Trump’s wings to where he is now. Trump never laid a hand on him.
Trump never made Cruz take on a fight. Not Trumps’s fault Cruz looked weak last night.

Cruz stumbled a couple of times and you would’ve been proud of the way he bit back at Chris Wallace and the Kelly broad, but he did very, very well in the debate. He passed on multiple opportunities to pile on Trump and stuck to the policy questions posed to him.
He’s not friggin’ satan you know...
I’ll check back Tuesday on your prediction. But there’s no denying that Cruz and the other candidates got put on the hotseat and Trump avoided the whole media-driven inquisition.

Yeah. Whatever. I have had my fill of Cruz for the rest of my life. I just hope Iowa voters don’t fall for his speaking ability. I still haven’t found any evidence that Cruz is a good master debater. He sucks at them in fact.
