This is, of course, DOA in the Georgia legislature I hope.

I don’t know if anyone here actually read the Bill. I did. And what sticks out to me is, These people have way too much time on their hands.

What a waste of taxpayers time. What a waste of breath these people are.

Same here although it’s an inlet that goes for miles, center depth around 1600 feet or so. Good shrimping and crabbing too, with salmon running into it. Lots of boats on the water and accidents happen.

Yeah, a state legislator could have an accident, and no one would ever find him or her.

House Speaker said DOA. We have a few bills in GA cosponsored by a half dozen liberal loonies and this is one of them. Nothing to see here.

That would be an Unintended Consequence of legislation like this.

Well, you loud mouth liberal Donkeys, talk a good game. This is DOA, but just who do you think is stupid enough to TRY and confiscate the guns held by GA residents? How about YOU, Mr. and Ms. politician? Put on your police Ninja suit, badge, vest, and guns to break down doors of honest citizens and see how quickly your numbers start filling body bags. Bring lots of body bags because you're going to need them.

Georgia was the first to officially ban handguns back in the 1837.

That law was on the books till the State Supreme Court declared the law in violation of the US Bill of Rights, Second Amendment.
