If this continues to the Convention, the haggis will be in the fire
No, it's even worse. The people who praised Obama as the Second Coming agreed with his positions all along.
Now we have "conservatives" who champion someone who wants universal health care, gun control, amnesty, more government surveillance & just about everything else liberals love.
Heck, we might as well cancel the election and give Obama a third term at this rate
are you saying that you won’t vote for Donald Trump if he is the nominee?
Well, he had destroyed all of them. He ridicule them on daily basis. Do you think people like Karl Rove, Kelly etc can ask more money etc, from now on they will be sliding down.
Aye, the haggis is in the fire, for sure
Citizenship at birth and Natural born citizenship are not the same thing. NBC requires two citizen parents, born on US soil or in the service of the US abroad, like diplomats or military.
It takes a bit of digging to follow all the false trails laid at FR and on the net but if you believe in interpreting the Constitution and Naturalization Acts as written, that is the true and clear definition. If you believe that the Constitution is a living document all bets are off.
At least we’d know what we’re getting.
Right you are!
Actually, this is not a "birther" issue. The Obama birther issue centered around whether he was born in the U.S. -- that's where it became the stuff of conspiracy theorists and general loopiness. However, it is undisputed that Cruz was not born in the U.S.
So we just have the pure legal issue without the birther looniness: Is someone born abroad to at least one U.S. citizen parent a "natural born" citizen for the purposes of presidential eligibility. You'll read over and over that "most legal experts" think so. But that doesn't mean it's been decided. The only "legal experts" who count are the nine in SCOTUS.
“Lame.”
Yep, that accurately describes Trump.
That ain’t the way it works. Being the Constitutional scholar he is, let Trump decide to sue Cruz if he believes Cruz is not eligible. Otherwise, it is assumed he IS until proven that he isn’t in a court of law.
I’m sure having access to the best lawyers money can buy, Trump will have no difficulty pursuing this avenue. Unless of course, most Constitutional lawyers think Cruz is right and how the Constitution does not support Trump’s accusations.
He might want to sue Rubio also if Rubio threatens his lead in the polls. Oh well, he who has the gold...yada yada
Lame.
Yep, that accurately describes Trump.
Guess who that describes?
Hint: former #1 in Iowa.
So what you are saying is that the 1000 Saudi people born in Saudi Arabia from American mothers and Saudi fathers are all eligible Natural Born Citizens of the USA?
No. According to the birth certificate and COLB of John McCain, McCain was born in Colon Hospital, city of Colon, Panama.
That is not in the Canal Zone.
The Truth will set you free. Since 2012 Trump has given almost nothing to the Democratic side.
“We went to two authoritative databases of campaign finance data to examine Ferguson’s numbers: OpenSecrets.org, to find federal donations, and FollowtheMoney.org, for state-level donations.
Trump has actually been relatively evenhanded in doling out cash to the two parties, but since 1989, he’s contributed over $350,000 more to Republicans running for federal and state offices, campaign finance records show.
Data from the Federal Election Commission and state elections offices provided by the two websites show that Trump has given $584,850 to Democrats and $961,140 to the GOP over the last 26 years.
The difference in donations is almost entirely captured in Trump’s recent giving. Since 2012, Trump has donated $463,450 to Republicans and just $3,500 to Democrats (California Attorney General Kamala Harris and New York Assemblyman Michael Benedetto).”
1989-2011
Republicans $497,690 Democrats $581,350
2012-present
Republicans $463,450 Democrats $3,500
McCain was ineligible. But because Obama was certain to defeat old, fat, short, maverick McCain, the democrats had no reason to file a suit of ineligibility.
His father was active military at the time on America’s business. That is why congress made a resolution that he was a NBC.
Facts are a bitch! Thanks so much for taking time to post facts.
Shouldn't they also be NBC's ?
Or even American Citizens?
Born to soldiers send overseas, working for our government.
