President Barack Obama on Thursday promised his most fervent supporters on Capitol Hill the "Democrats will win in November" and said it's going to take more than "phony tough talk and bluster" to defeat Islamic militants.
Appearing before House Democrats at a retreat in Baltimore, Obama said the country is "doing a lot better" than when he took office, citing progress against Islamic State forces and curbing Iran's nuclear program - as well as lower gas prices, 18 million people gaining health insurance and 5 percent unemployment.
In a not-so-veiled shot at GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, Obama said the U.S. won't strengthen itself "by allowing politicians to insult Muslims or pit groups of Americans against each other." ...

obama was a mistake. Many of you will castigate me but I had hope for him. He was our first half white / half black to have a chance. He blew it right out the tail pipe. He was a disaster like we have never witnessed. 20 trillion dollar debt. No jobs. embarrassing foreign policy. A foot note in history. Go play golf and remember the chance you had.
I worked for and voted for Reagan in my first election in 1980, and I'm getting to the point where I'm hoping we lose just because I'm sick of the vitriol.

If it’s Trump, the DNC better be prepared for a huge protracted battle over falsified voting results. I have a feeling the Dems will run to Trump just because of the populism. I don’t think it will be close enough though.
Obama had to basically fill every registered voter of every urban area in every swing state to 100% voter turnout to beat MITT ROMNEY.

Most of the “GOP Candidates” are de-facto Dems. It’s their job to divide and conquer for the glorious revolution. Therefore, in this context, define “we”.

Says the president who lost BOTH houses of Congress for his party, the vast majority of state legislatures and governors. He’s a horrible president but it’s interesting that the GOP controls most of country aside from the presidency.
And no, most of the GOP candidates are not "de facto" Dems. Most of them are not conservatives, but you can track votes and still see substantial differences by party. But I won't bother because I know where this is going.
Have fun losing with whomever your anointed candidate is, either in the primaries or in the general. The demographic changes in this country leave Republicans only a narrow window to win an election, and we'd need to have a unified party to have even a shot.
And there's about zero chance of that.
