Glenn Beck then goes on to say the deal with Mitch is why he dropped support for Rand Paul and yet supports Ted Cruz.
Hereâs the problemâ¦.
Actually, hereâs the lieâ¦
Senator Rand Paul and Senator Ted Cruz made the same deal, together, at exactly the same time.
Stop â Repeat !
âThe dealâ, as Beck describes it, was actually real â and did actually take place. The deal was to go along with Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnellâs overall objectives, electoral objectives AND legislative objectives, as the GOP entered into the 2014 mid-term election cycle.
The deal, which few were tracking at the time, was a deal made just before the legislative Christmas holiday and just after congress returned the following year. âThe Dealâ was made in December 2013 and January 2014.
Both Senator Rand Paul and Senator Ted Cruz agreed with congressional leadership (McConnell) to go along with the GOP leadershipâs electoral/legislative priorities. That was the deal.

It made sense because some idiots believe being conservative is being loyal to a local politician even if he is a flaming liberal himself.
However, that scenario is not panning out. The favorite son candidates are all in the less than 1% category and not doing much to help the GOPe.
So all of a sudden no more mention of this GOPe strategery.
All of a sudden it's all Trump all the time.
Those "conservatives" there are definitely up a tree.
Rant, rant, rant . . .
Not sure what you are saying!
Gateway has it posted earlier. Cruz supporters welcome to Team Trump
Who is Chris McDaniel supporting? Yea that’s right Cruz. The same guy sundance is saying cut his throat.
It’s almost unheard of that a sitting senator openly campaigns against another senator.
I love the treehouse but it is unreadable right now. The comment section is laughable because of the pro trump idiocy....kinda like Bill brasky but with trump
There's an increasing wave against this Sundance guy.
He spends a whole bunch of bandwidth coming up with these intricate theories about how the GOPe is going to steal the election away from conservatives, but as soon as Trump gets traction, instead of apologizing for his earlier insane theories he just gets on the Trump bandwagon and starts excoriating every other candidate.
Weird.
It must be hard to keep all the stories straight and remember a store full of SKUs at the same time.
