Trump seems to be afraid of Megyn's potential questions. I prefer a candidate with more courage.

And is Mister Trump really fearful perhaps cowardly so? of debating Senator Ted Cruz?

One suspects that Mister Trump will not accept Senator Cruz's invitation for a one-v-one debate before the Iowa Caucus.

Trump is coming off as a thin-skinned weakling.

(I am not a weakling. I anticipate criticism from my good conservative FRiends hereabouts. I will say that we are all on the same team, but we disagree about who should be our qb.).

Irrespective of the Trump vs Cruz issue, I do not think for a moment that Trump is afraid of Megyn Kelly, or any other media person. That said, if he wanted to avoid a biased media affair there were other ways to do it that would have come off better, IMHO.

I do think there are members of the media who feel that it is their job to influence who winds of in the White House. It isn't, and outside of doing their job in vetting the candidates with equal effort, they should not have influence on the outcome.

Trump’s not afraid. He’s simply got inside information that the situation is way more stacked against him than Kelly’s jihad, the 3 literal jihadists picked to also attack him, and google’s real-time “fact-checking”, etc.

Trump is just being smart: he’s simply walking away from a bad deal he doesn’t need. AND he’s walking away as the leader and the winner.

This debate was supposed to be the last gasp total, all-out attack by the establishment right before the voting starts. Now the whole situation is completely chaotic for Fox and the establishment. They have the firing squad all lined up but the prisoner to be executed took a powder.

On top of that, once again, Trump has sucked all the oxygen out of the race because all anyone is talking about is Trump, INCLUDING his debate opponents, who SHOULD be talking about themselves and not Trump. And AFTER the debate, all anyone will be talking about is how Trump’s absence did or did not affect the debate. AND CNN will be telecasting a live all-TRUMP-palooza in the same time-slot as the debate, and if CNN’s ratings soar and FNC’s debate ratings plummet, Trump will have vanquished the weakest member of the MSM hegemony.

And finally, the person most likely to suffer from all of this is Cruz because the establishment hates his guts too, and now that HE’S the lead guy in the debates, they’re gonna shift their firing squad to shoot at Cruz instead of Trump, rather than wasting the perfectly good firing squad they spent all of that time and money assembling against Trump.

Then you really, seriously need to give it more thought. It's not about MK per se, it's about FOX being anything but "fair and balanced," and the stunt with the YouTube ~~stars.

No reasonable person helps his opponent ambush him.
