Fox News' Chris Wallace, who will moderate Thursday's Donald Trump-free GOP debate, says his Sunday news show is the only one not handling Trump with kid gloves.
"I think if anything, the media has treated him too well," Wallace told TheWrap. "By that I mean they've allowed him to play by different rules. ...All the other Sunday shows have allowed Trump to call in and do phone interviews. I'm the only Sunday show host that [will only talk] in person. I think that Sunday shows hold themselves to a higher standard."

WTF is “organic spread?” Looks similar to ipecac.
Roger Ailes wrote that press release that was the catalyst that forced Trump’s decision. All the Fox people know who signs their checks.
Hey, Chris Wallace, It’s not the duty of the media to treat any candidate any particular way. Your duty is to report, not be the news.
Fox is pulling out all the stops in trying to scalp Goldenhair.
But he is a James Bond villain and will only die at the very end of the movie!
Trump has boosted your ratings , pinhead. That’s the reason you have been “nice” to him.
“He only wants yes men and sychophants.”
You got it. And there appears to be an infestation of them on this site.
What happened to the true, rock solid conservatives on this site any more?
Is this what we were are settling for now?
How sure are we about Trump’s conservative credentials? He just transformed about an hour ago, and he already seems to be sliding back.
Why aren’t any of you critically considering whether Trump is really authentically conservative?
Not merely work the media, but play them like a gifted violinist plays a violin of mediocre quality.
The beautiful sounds are drawn out, regardless of the quality of the “fiddle” handed to him.
But a quality instrument would serve so much better, and Fox or any of the media ain’t that good of quality.
Don’t these Fox News Personalities know how self serving their comments appear? They cannot be Fair and Balanced talking about an issue that personally affects their own Bread and Butter.
Good catch. Since when did the media get put in the position of "allowing" what candidates can or cannot do?
Then Chris was heard to sniffle.
Careful. You’ll hurt his feewings!
LOL.....
It's caused by desperation and deep deep disappointment. It's been all over the Trump threads today, post written in child like gibberish, posts written in valley girl lingo, and the one you replied to. It's a shame.
“I think if anything, the media has treated him too well,”
Well Chris, in your little bubble, I can understand that, but the problem is that you and your 5th Column are being manipulated by Trump because of ratings/ad revenue.
Methinks Trump’s name recognition has ya’ll by the short hairs.
5.56mm
You do know that just 12 months ago he was spamming FR with his big "Cruz or Lose" logo. That went on for months.
Must be infuriating to watch it morph into "Cruz and Lose".
Tap, tap. “I’ve got some doozies in here”, said Chris Wallace.
Media has given him a lot of air time, but they’ve hauled in the eyeballs in return, so I’d say they have treated each other well.
Sure Chris, sure. The voters have treated Trump well and that is the only reason the media gives him attention. All the other media attention that Trump receives is in the form of negative article after negative article. NRO has written about 500 of them since the summer.
...I think that Sunday shows hold themselves to a higher standard.”
