Yes only Trump has been able to defeat the media.
Only Trump has stood up against the media, China, Mexico ,illegals, Muslims (All of the enemies of America and freedom). etc. All other politicians have not stood up nor said anything against ALL of these enemies of America.
The media is the main problem that is destroying the USA

Control isn't the right word. Obama does that.
Challenge is the better word....and not letting the media control him is probably a better picture.

If you read about the Nixon presidency, or watch documentaries about that era, you can see the beginnings of the total war of the media against the Republican Party.
