Last night news broke that #OregonStandoff Spokesperson Robert "LaVoy" Finicum was shot and killed during a federal traffic stop near Burns, Oregon. In the hours following the shooting reports started coming out suggesting it may very well be possible Finicum had his hands up and did not present a weapon, nor did he attempt to cause harm to agents.

The reports asserting this included claims there was a witness or witnesses in the vehicle who watched the entire event unfold. But until now we hadn’t heard from those witnesses publicly.

Now one of the witnesses has completed a gut-wrenching interview in which she says FBI agents fired an estimated 120 rounds at Finicum and his vehicle, six of which entered his body.

This is breaking, first-hand, eyewitness audio testimony of how LaVoy Finicum was killed by federal agents on January 26, 2016. The young lady's voice that you're going to hear was in the car with LaVoy, Ryan Payne, Ryan Bundy, and Shawna Cox.

The federal agents fired the first and only shots, according to this testimony. Finicum had his hands in the air when he was shot.

You're going to likely see video testimony from this young lady in the near future. Please pray for this whole situation. This is a tragic thing that didn't have to happen had cooler heads prevailed.

There are two different "eyewitness" accounts of what happened that are very different. You may choose to belief the one in the post you referenced. I choose to believe neither until more information and evidence becomes available (if it ever does).

My point was that both "sides" in this standoff have made mistakes and neither has clean hands.

I am *not* saying Finicum got what he deserved or anything like that, but if you publicly announce that you are always armed and ready to die before going to jail, you have to understand that law enforcement will take that seriously. Those in LE who may be bad actors will have an excuse to gun you down. Those in LE who may not be bad actors will nevertheless be more ready than usual to use lethal force when they come to arrest you.

I am not trying to acquit the FBI of shooting a man who may very well have been surrendering. I am not blaming Finicum for being gunned down by LE if that is what happened. All I am saying is that the most likely thing that occurred here was something south of the FBI righteously defending themselves from an armed guy charging at them with lethal intent, and something north of the FBI cold-bloodedly executing a man on his knees with his hands in the air.

Yep and apparently one was nearly a mile back and couldn’t even see the shooting, but amazingly he could see someone’ rushing forward’

Hands in air, whether on knees or standing makes little difference- no one owned a stun gun? Or mace? 120 rounds fired? more rounds fired into Finicum after he fell to ground?- FBI firing into the vehicle?

I’m not saying any of this was 100% the way it went down- we’ll likely never know- however, the evidence for now is leaning strongly towards a massive abuse of power- Especially IF Finicum had his hands out the window and they fired into the vehicle- causing him to have to flee for his own safety and that of those in the vehicle

We had them in Klamath. When people came amongst us advocating dire action and things that would give the authorities a pretext, we as a group were not looking to do, we would ask one another who knows this guy?

We would ask them who they were?

Then we would simply ignore them and sooner or later...they left.

Understandable. But he was there...and Ammon Bundy trusted him enough to have him drive, and have him protecting him.

As I have said...in time, the people who were in that car are going to have their say.

It happened with the survivors of Waco, it happened with Randy weaver...and when they did, they were pretty much exonerated of the major charges against them.

I expect that will be the case here too.

Christianity might as well be a minority given the fact that the culture as a whole in this country and the corruption we witness in every single institution that exists is a testament against us.

At best Christianity has become Lukewarm in America. At worst - indifferent and wholly corrupted itself. The fruits of this lethargy are self-evident if we are honest with ourselves. Christianity lost this culture to the hedonists and the Statists. We surrendered it without much of a fight.

This government reflects the abased culture that permeates it.

We have arrived at the time where evil and tyranny is entrenched, and it is not going to allow itself to be restrained. Ruby Ridge, both Wacos, Kim Davis, people who exposed Planned Parenthood, now this. Those are no longer the rare exceptions, they are becoming the rule in this country.

If people do not understand where we have arrived and recognize the absolute critical danger their children and what remains of their wealth, property and liberty are in, then resisting this Beast that now rules us is going to be an exercise in absolute futility and genocide awaits us and our posterity.

We are past the point of praying and hoping. We are almost past the time of standing and and resisting, because what shortly follows that is the time of fleeing and hiding.

I believe her over the others - especially the person 200 yards away, whether his testimony was coerced or viewed from too great a distance or both. I suppose 200 yards is how far they made it before crashing, after trying to get away from the first shots fired by the feds at the road block, as Sharp said.

A totally uncalled for shooting, and those involved, and those up the chain, should be investigated for murder or accessories to murdered coldly planned and executed under color of law.

With ALL the time the Feds had setting up the ambush site, and with ALL the hullabaloo lately from blacks about body cams for cops, and ALL the advance warning and planning time in Oregon, the Feds should have NO trouble turning over video of the so-called “shoot-out” that supports their narrative. I said work and fight too...so let's not mischaracterize the discussion.

But, I will add...

WE ARE NEVER PAST THE POINT OF ALSO PRAYING AND HOPING.

In the end, we are dependent on, and must look to God in Heaven. Working and fighting without praying and hoping is also a wasted effort. It is He who governs.

So we must do all four...pray, hope, work, and fight. Our fundamental principles are based on His word, and the Constitution is a document I view as inspired by Him. we rest on them...we pray to Him for guidance and support and comfort...we hope for HIs help and success, and then we work and fight for it ourselves as guided by His Spirit.

That is the recipe for success...both here in this life and in the one to come.

My bad. I’m not just reacting to your comments, but many others that I have been reading about this issue among Christians who toss Romans 13 at us like a bludgeon and suggest our duties are limited to only praying and hoping.

You are also correct that we should never stop hoping and praying - because even when Ancient Israel was sent into brutal captivity for their national sins as a people - their prayers and hopes were that their children would see Jerusalem again.

I’m grieved that what we have been given as a gift liberty by The Almighty, will have been squandered on our watch.

I’m still at the mindset of attempting to prevent us from going into captivity, but that time is fast waning.

Our hope alone may well be that our posterity will see the Kingdom of God come down with Christ once this place of safety for the Church is come to ruin.

We don’t know what happened. He was there by choice and thus is partially responsible for the consequences.

I read that not only did he not have a gun, but that he had his hands up and was complying, and that over 120 rounds were fired. That's a lot of lead for one old man. even though the early accounts said he had been hit six times.

Like I said, I'm waiting for the video.
