Think out side the box.

Trump is giving a free lesson in leadership here. Amazing people don’t get it.

Newsmax would have been friendly - way different than Fox with Trump. More and more is coming out about how nasty and childish Fox has been.

We haven’t seen this kind of leadership for so long many - even here on FR - don’t recognize it.

I do!!!!!!! Right from the first I recognize that this is a real American and a very strong individual. Trump for President or America will continue down the dark path.

I think you don’t give Trump enough credit. The media report the facts, they don’t make them. Dealing with a world leader is a very different scenario, and your dealing with a very different type of person, and one that Trump deals with in the business world. To compare the two is naive IMO. As for the baby duck, he runs the pond. Her daily bread is advertising and viewership, and she does not control that, in this case, he does.

That’s the logical fallacy of too few alternatives. There are possibilities other than the lame “he’s scared of Kelly”.

Trump said why, watch the presser; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAjSisr_RWE&t=26m51s

He's a baby duck. Fox News will not go bankrupt without Donald Baby Duck....

He's gone around calling Ted Cruz all sorts of names. If he's not a baby duck he should accept Cruz's challenge. But he won't, because we know he is a baby duck and not fit for command.

Donald the Coward will be back on Thursday.

He will claim that Fox surrendered to his demands and he will declare victory.

Interesting to hear Trump suggest others lack courage for declining to participate in his 2012 debate.

So will Trump duck and run every time he’s challenged as President?

Trump is giving a free lesson in leadership here.

This is how seventh graders lead.

You are logical - that must be part of the reason you see it.

Way too much subjective analysis going on.

If he shows it will be because he partnered with FOX to drive up ratings....

Neither side in this is blameless. Trump has chosen to be antagonistic. So has Fox News.

However, there is a larger point that needs to be made.

The system for selecting candidates is broken. For both parties, but especially for the GOP. Perhaps the tactics being selected will help break the logjam, or perhaps it will reinforce the status quo.

In any event, I am disheartened to see so many Freepers (including myself occasionally) impugning the integrity and/or intelligence of other Freepers because they disagree.

No, it means they gave in to his demands, Pure “Art of the Deal” stuff.

Think about when you’re negotiating to buy a car, You walk out pretending you’re done with the dealer, then they call you back and say they agree to your price.

It’s pure gamesmanship.

Logical fallacies; opinion asserted as absolute fact, too few alternatives, and ad hominem.

Trump owns the news cycle for days. They are doing his bidding - not the other way around. He refused to walk into Fox’s trap. Don’t you understand the significance of that?? Wow.

I think he’ll find some way to try to steal the spotlight, either onstage or off.

Trump is an attention hog. Does not play well with others.

I was honestly undecided until yesterday, and still am — but Trump has hurt himself in my eyes with this me-first hissy fit.
