Neither side in this is blameless. Trump has chosen to be antagonistic. So has Fox News.

However, there is a larger point that needs to be made.

The system for selecting candidates is broken. For both parties, but especially for the GOP. Perhaps the tactics being selected will help break the logjam, or perhaps it will reinforce the status quo.

In any event, I am disheartened to see so many Freepers (including myself occasionally) impugning the integrity and/or intelligence of other Freepers because they disagree.

Agreed when a man that has never held office and only once ran for office on the another party ticket, who has routinely contributed to another party can be seen as a realistic choice, yes the system is broken.
