If only the Lone Ranger ever showed so much organizational skill in carrying out his day job as a U.S. senator and actually having something to show for it

Ah, the old siren song of the "ground game". Worked in campaigns, been a political junkie my entire life, and don't think I've ever seen anyone who trumpeted their ground game win. It's pretty much always spin talk from the candidate who's trailing in the polls (see
Romney).
Also, the media, Governor Branstad and Steve Deace all said Ron Paul had the best Iowa ground game in 2012, and he finished third.

I have a hard time reading “trash talk” from a Trump supporter... Win or lose he is an Left of center Democrat. And if you truly are conservative he will end up making you cry like many Obama lovers have done.

Cruz had to create a HUGE "boots on the ground" presence in all the early primary caucus and primary states. And it is now starting to pay off in a big way.

And the elected Reps and Senators is the "historic" elections of 2010 and 2014.

Also, the media, Governor Branstad and Steve Deace all said Ron Paul had the best Iowa ground game in 2012, and he finished third. Although Ron Paul placed third on caucus night in 2012, he wound up with 22 of the 28 Iowa delegate votes cast months later at the Republican convention.
Maybe this is the type of ground game the Cruz folks are talking about...smh

"If only the Lone Ranger ever showed so much organizational skill in carrying out his day job as a U.S. senator."As my senator, I can assure you that he has shown more skill at carrying out his campaign promises than any other member of the US Senate.

Planned parenthood obamacare the Iran nuclear deal and muslim migrant resettlement were all funded and the debt increased another trillion since last year
What campaign promises did he fulfill that actually changed or slowed down obama’s agenda?

I heard on CNN last night that he has 8,000 volunteers and 800 paid staffers working Iowa.
That IS unprecedented.

From the article:
“As of last week, over 12,000 volunteers have signed on and are now working to identify and turn out caucus goers for Cruz,” the campaign said Tuesday in a press release. “Volunteers, on average, are making up to 20,000 phone calls and knocking on 2,000 doors every day. During the month of January, 836 people will have stayed at Camp Cruz, the former college dorms that are filled beyond capacity with volunteers from all over the country, some tripling up in rooms using air mattresses.”
