Ted Cruz Best Choice to End Lawlessness at Justice Department
PJ Media ^ | January 26, 2016 | J. Christian Adams

Of the remaining Republican presidential candidates, Senator Ted Cruz is the best choice to repair the mess that Eric Holder and Barack Obama have left at the United States Department of Justice. Cruz alone has an understanding of both the corrosive and lawless policies of the last seven years as well as the complex task of restoring the rule of law.

Cruz has an outsider’s zeal to reverse Obama’s lawlessness with the insider’s ability to overcome bureaucratic inertia.

-snip-

If you care about energy, national security, religious liberty, immigration or the power of government, it is the Justice Department lawyers that develop the intricate legal policies that support the agency decisions. They are the lawyers that make the litigation decisions.

-snip

When Obama radicalized the Justice Department, he radicalized the government.

-snip-

I know this because Senator Cruz is one of the few senators who display any comprehension of the radical transformation taking place inside Justice. When Holder or other administration officials go before the Judiciary Committee, Cruz is one of the senators who can be counted on to conduct real oversight.

Cruz conducts oversight of Eric Holder and his gang of radicals the same way I would. Unlike some colleagues, Cruz actually shows up for oversight hearings of the Justice Department. Cruz digs into the important issues during oversight and confirmation hearings and doesn’t ask provincial questions seemingly unaware of the lawless history of this Justice Department.

-snip-

To reverse the culture of lawlessness that has overtaken the Obama Justice Department, the political appointees will need the skills of an insider with the ideology of an outsider, just like Ted Cruz has.

Political overseers, and presidents, who merely issue commands to the ministerial state will invariably have those commands diluted, ignored, opposed and reversed.

Who is this J. Christian Adams??? OBVIOUSLY, he a s shill of the GOPe! Cruz can’t win - TRUMP can win. J. Christian Adams can’t even win at tiddlywinks! I’ve never heard of him before, but I bet he molests little girls, because ANYONE who doesn’t support Trump is supporting the molestation of little girls! We need someone who will go into Washington and make DEALS to reduce the number of molestations. Trump WROTE THE BOOK on deal making. Trump could easily get a deal where little girls are ONLY molested on Tuesday and Thursdays! We need a president who can MAKE THESE DEALS with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Trump respects them and can make the DEALS this country needs!

Vote Trump for Tuesdays and Thursdays!

“Ted Cruz would make a great AG”

Ted Cruz would appoint the best, smartest, most amazing, stupendously qualified AG in the history of the country, no the world, the universe.

I first became aware of the subverting of justice in the DOJ by Democrats in the 90s. A little known action by a Federal judge, issuing a referral to the DOJ about what he perceived to be perjury by a WH Clinton aide, Ira Magaziner, in a lawsuit over Hillarycare.

An ambitious young Deputy Att. General named Eric Holder refused to accept the referral or do any investigation via a grand jury. Without a functioning DOJ the judge could do nothing but issue sanctions in the form of a fine ($250,000) AGAINST THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. Imagine that. A Federal judge orders a fine for lawlessness against the government and the DOJ was good with that and willing to ride out any opprobrium from this because they knew not many would know and fewer care.

I don’t know if Mr. Adams has ever written about this chapter of DOJ political infamy, but it was a forerunner to all the illegalities that the DEM appointees have gotten away with since—because they know the Republicans are either neutered or unwilling to take action.

Holder got a contempt of Congress citation for refusing to testify about Fast & Furious, the guns-to-drug cartels program. Has the Congress issued a warrant or tried to hold him accountable in any way? NO. Holder probably has it framed on his wall. Or used it as toilet paper.
