Republican presidential candidate Sen. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said that fellow candidate Donald Trump “supports taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood. Those are New York values” and pointed to polling that shows “I’m beating Hillary Clinton right now and Donald Trump’s losing to her” on Tuesday’s “O’Reilly Factor” on the Fox News Channel.

"During a question and answer period after a speech in New Hampshire on the campaign trail, presidential candidate Donald Trump repeated his call for de-funding the Planned Parenthood abortion business. The call for revoking its taxpayer funding comes one day before the Senate is prepare dot vote on the matter and one week after a deranged gunman shot a dozen people outside an abortion clinic in Colorado Springs, killing three."

The Republicans in Congress already funded it.

Cruz is a half-truth man.

Half-truthers is why they added "the whole truth" to the standard oath.

Good grief, why does Cruz keep bragging about how much he is beating Hillary when he spends no time actually taking her on?

As if the moment the press turn their guns on him, that this is going to be the case. Can’t run to uncle Levin for help then.

He should run with Trump to Trump’s safe zone, where Trump will hide out from Megyn.

I listen to Cruz on campaign trail. He always says he will investigate planned parenthood. Never mentions not funding them.

Too bad you hate the most conservative senator in the senate...

As the Senate voted Monday on a continuing resolution with taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood, Cruz attempted to offer an amendment ending all federal funding for America’s largest abortion provider. The amendment also cut off money to implement the Iran nuclear deal.

“But in a departure from Senate custom, a quartet of Republican leaders blocked the Texas senator from even getting a vote on his amendment. Only one senator, Mike Lee of Utah, stood with Cruz on the Senate floor.”

Ted Cruz’ Texas has already “investigated” Planned Parenthood.

They are going after the whistleblowers, rather than Planned Parenthood officials.

It’s obvious the senator has a lot of pull.

Safe zone?

You mean among the vets and people?

Cruz needs to run to uncle Levin, then he will obediently crawl to Fox, so he can show everyone how much of a “brilliant leader” he is.... after spending months hiding behind Trump.

So just a big show vote all the way around. AGAIN!

Again, he has no pull, no influence, and no authority.

Let’s totally make him president!

Good grief, why does Cruz keep bragging about how much he is beating Hillary when he spends no time actually taking her on?

When he promotes Constitutional values, he IS taking her on. A lot of people are still getting introduced to Cruz, and he has to respond to attacks from others, most notably Trump at this point, against him.

I guess Trump can run to any safe zone or anywhere he wants as long as no one asks him a question that reveals his character or his manifest ignorance.

Oh because this was the first debate of the season, and has had no contact with the press before?

Oh yeah, that’s right, you have no idea what you are even talking about.

You knew what I was talking about.

When he is already getting flak for being "nasty", it is no wonder that he is sticking with the primarily positive themes of his campaign.
