National Review contributors recently joined together in criticizing Donald Trump and his candidacy for President of the United States. Stefan Molyneux responds to David Boaz's contribution to the National Review's "Conservatives Against Trump." David Boaz is the executive vice president of the Cato Institute and the author of The Libertarian Mind.
âA lot of Americans think it would be better to have a businessman than a politician as president, and I sympathize with them. Alas, the only businessmen crazy enough to run for president seem to be, well, crazy. At least Ross Perot kept his craziness confined mostly to private matters, such as the looming disruption of his daughterâs wedding. Donald Trump puts it front and centerâ¦.â
I stopped worshipping Thomas Sowell a while ago due to his naive beliefs regarding the "free" market.
But Sowell trying to associate Trump with Obama, Peron, and Hitler and doing his version of the Daisy Commercial by invoking nuclear destruction is just plain dishonest and childish.
blue pill \ red pill sophist. not all that impressed.
This piece by the Conservative Treehouse nails it:
That’s because you hate Trump. We all get it; sadly, you don’t.
Or was it a green if I recall correctly fairly radical libertarian which is beautiful in theory objectively a failure in reality.
I’m even more disappointed in Sowell if what you wrote is true. Can still forgive and forget [after this primary] but he’s making a fool of himself reg. Trump.
I noticed he tried to compare Trump with ‘peace in our time’ ...
âpolitically successful deall than that which Neville Chamberlain ...â
How can ANYONE say that Trump is appeasing muslims?
Then there’s the old ‘He’s just a deal-maker’ saw...
JUST ... a deal maker?
Heck, just look at the way he dealt with Megyn Kelly and FoxNews.
‘Art of the Deal’ is NOT ‘roll over and play dead.’
