We can’t bring back something we never had. That was French thing.
States have had many methods of execution, but not that one.
Yeah! Let’s turn into Saudi Arabia! We can also ‘bring back’ stoning women for being raped! </S>
That’s our Gov! Making liberals’ heads explode on a weekly basis.
Why drugs? Why not child sex crimes?
Hang’m, ropes cheap.
LePage....look at his name. Maine was settled by the French, and still has a heavily French descended population.
Good idea, I'll try to bring it up.
LaPage grew up speaking French in northern Maine.
Better idea - let’s bring back the guillotine for those who abuse their government powers.
Politicians are worried that we’re going to bring back lampposts.
I just lost an enormous amount of respect for him.
Authoritarian demagoguery is quite the populist elixir, though.
Far be it from me to opine that a drug user's actions are entirely their own choice and responsibility.
That's true whether speaking about alcohol (the worst drug on the face of the earth) or any other drug.
But, hey, Prohibition rulez! Bring back the guillotine, or something...
And reusable
And reusable
bring it back for rogue IRS agents like Lois Lerner that comitted crimes against the Republic
LOL, well LePage is French ancestry...
I can say one thing with confidence. Such demonizations served as a fig leaf (and excuse) for a far worse problem: weakening gospel awareness.
It used to be that people would not countenance going on trips because it would be like a visit from Satan.
Now it’s more like “Cool! Satan!” Because nobody knows what God can do any more.
And guillotines will kill people without doing a THING about this, and if LePage is ignorant of that shame on him!
Absolutely! Heroin dealers first to meet the blade!
Too messy.
A simple noose on a tree works well enough.
It’ll still go on. The price will go up but it still will go on. We’d need not only draconian laws but police state. Somehow the founding fathers did not seem to have a second Singapore in mind, but again they believed in that Christianity stuff.
