Cruz killed his campaign with Beck.

I think he must have used Beck as a sure way to bow out of the race entirely. Otherwise, Cruz had to be mental to think that ANYONE admires today’s version of Beck.

How could any intelligent candidate not know that duo appearance would do anything but wipe out votes? Cruz had to know that.

I don’t think Ted knows Beck that well, and he thought he was an edgy person that many would identify with.

Wrong.

I think it was a mistake, but I also blame this largely on Beck.

When you’re in a situation like that, you defer to the major player. You don’t spring “oaths” on him.

Beck may have really damaged him with that, and that’s not really Ted’s fault.

Beck is just a social curmudgeon.
