This is probably Trump’s last rodeo.
Cruz OTOH is just a beginner and won’t even hit the prime politician age for another 4 POTUS cycles.
He needs to get the Canadian thing adjudicated before the 2020 cycle.

They're trying to reduce expectations because they know that even if they can pull this out it'll be close. If expectations are low enough, Ted can claim a narrow win or a narrow loss as a great victory.
Beck will be weeping either way.

McConnell's lawyer has a super pack that wants to eliminate Trump and put Cruz in the White House and McConnell is in favor for it...

Rush was talking about this today on his program.
He was effectively encouraging all conservatives to rally around Ted Cruz. Rush recognizes that Trump is a progressive candidate, and that the only hope we have for nominating a conservative is to put all our support behind one candidate: Ted Cruz.
