Trump is an unqualified arrogant, egotistical loudmouth, most of whose accomplishments are imaginary themes from his own endless, shameless self-promotion. yes it is a TV show and it is entertainment but at the time he was doing the show he was not thinking about how it would look when running for president...I am guessing you have not looked at it....I know that these shows are half scripted and a lot is done in editing to manipulate the audience. the only thing interesting in the board room sequences and the logic he uses in his decisions.

Let's put this in the context of the Trumpster's comments. He was bashing the "nasty" Cruz. Why? Because Cruz has held strongly to conservative values. Cruz hasn't gone along to get along. He's borne the brunt of the scorn of the Republican leadership for not giving in to the Democrats. So in that context Trump bashed Cruz for not caving in, for standing up for conservative values. Trump is again using liberal talking points to bash a real conservative. Now, I don't care if people want to be a liberal. They're just wrong. It's a free country. But be a liberal. Paul Ryan hasn’t been making “Deals” with Democrats, he’s been throwing them a Birthday Party. Deals are a totally different thing. A good deal is when you get what you want and the other party gets a little of something too. Otherwise they won’t deal with you again. On the surface it’s troubling, unless you know Trump the businessman. When Trump says he’ll “work with someone,” it’s on his terms and as a winner. The Dems have never encountered a winner. All our guys lose. The undercurrent here is subtle, and Cruzers/Trump haters will not like it, but it has to be understood in the context of Trump’s “deal making” . . . except he wins in his deals.
