Donald Trump Tuesday tore into rival GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz, calling him a "liar" and a "nasty" person who nobody likes â and said he is a "lone wolf" like President Barack Obama, only "more strident."
"Ted Cruz lies," the front-runner for the party's nomination told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program. "He is a liar. That's why nobody likes him. That's why the Senate people won't endorse him. He stands in the middle of the Senate floor and can't make a deal with anybody. He's a jerk."

Childish rant.
No, not a lie. It is spin. Part of the job.
kind of sad to have to see them go at it.
we knew it was inevitable.
dont think they’ll be on the same ticket now.
i was too young to remember.
how badly did bush and Reagan go at it. I think it was bush that coined the term “voodoo economics” actually
Cruz: Trump has bad hair.
It was in response to the 2 Cruz attack ads against Trump that were just released.
>> calling him a “liar” and a “nasty” person
Project much, Donnie?
Much more of this kind of unjustified vile crap will turn me 180 degrees against that combed over new york valued bastard.
Donald Trump is the gift that keeps on giving!
Yep they’d be lying.
It is interesting that one of the hits Trump has made on Cruz was for calling McConnell a liar in the Senate. Now, he is resorting to the same terminology.
Yep.
He IS a liar. But he seems like a pretty nice guy.
“He’s a jerk.”
How presidential
from the article:
“Nobody likes Ted . . . I don’t think he’ll get anything through Congress because everybody hates him. I mean, the senators â you think you are in gridlock now? If he gets elected, you’ll have gridlock times ten.”
Why does everyone think gridlock is a terrible thing?
It is supposed to be difficult to get things through Congress by design, so that the legislative branch won’t be able to do harm against We the People.
I’ve said it before “Gridlock for President, 2016!”
i wouldn’t say bad. but a very odd color, indeed.
Cruz was able to get “a whacko like Glenn Beck” to support him, but Trump also slammed the conservative radio show host “who is always, every time I see him, he is crying, like so emotional. What a mess! He gets a whack job like Glenn Beck to support him, which is a negative, not a positive. I think Ted has some problems. He doesn’t tell the truth.”
See you in a few days during the Iowa caucus canned spam.
Trump does not have the temperament, maturity or the character to be POTUS.
Donald Trump loves insulting conservatives.
