Just announced
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
You really think the liberal lamestream media, the Treasury department and by extension the IRS are going to distinguish Falwell's personal endorsement from the University?
Have you learned NOTHING from Lois Lerner and the IRS' abuse of Conservative groups during the 2012 election cycle?
Do you see dead people?
Just wondering....maybe part of the Beck Effect, or something.
So the fact that three respected conservatives endorse Trump past few days and we are all stupid
The Cruz or else crowd does themselves no favors here
Who would you rather endorse your run?
Palin and Falwell
Or Glenn Beck
I already know your answer so contemplate that for a second before lashing out and see my tag line just for reference
Your missing the point as do most Trumpeters. If you are a conservative you want small government. If you vote for people like Bush or Trump you are voting for big government, just your big government. But big government it still big government.
I take it you don’t like Trump.
I was repeatedly told by Trump supporters that support from evangelicals for Cruz was the same as wanting another Jimmy Carter. So which is it? But then with Trump supporters it just gets spin how ever is best for Trump, just as he does.
How do you know about that about Trump? Has he ever been elected to office? NO so he has no record, he’s a businessman....a private sector....
Bush, I voted for GWB because I can’t stand AL gore and he was right up there with Clinton...
So your point is?????
You were perviously a FReeper?
Trump and Falwell’s dad had the same beliefs? Who really believes that?
I wasn’t one of those folks you’ll have to ask them
My only Cruz endorsement I dislike is I think that nutjob south bashing Beck
I think these endorsements Trump got are because he can win and he fights
Border and Islam and economic prowess
Ted even though personally a good maybe great man doesn’t come across as effective or all encompassing
Some of it is intangible no question
Well for goodness sake, don’t you research anything? When you have questions about something, how do you get your answers? Do some research and find your answers that is what the rest of us do....
How ironic all this is, when Cruz is TELLING preachers in Iowa to break the law and demand their flock support him. This is how little Cruz thinks of Christianity and freedom!

Ted Cruz Wants Iowa Pastors To Violate Separation of Church and State
David Brody from CBN is reporting that Ted Cruz has asked Iowa pastors to violate the separation of church and state clause that allows them to have tax exempt status. He wants them to specifically tell their congregations that they have to caucus with Cruz.
For years we’ve heard how pastors can’t endorse candidates. And that the IRS will show up and revoke the church’s 501c3 tax exempt status. Ted Cruz has decided to say screw it once again when it comes to a law that gets in his way.
Brody reports “For Cruz, it’s pretty simple. He wins Iowa if evangelical pastors get behind him AND make sure the bulk of their congregations are caucusing on Monday night”.
So are pastors supposed to strong arm their congregations? Are they supposed to sit next to them and fill out their caucus form with them? By making this plea, Cruz has invited the IRS to these churches. And pastors and their flocks will pay a heavy price if this tactic initiates a full blown investigation.
But this is the Cruz strategy. Slash and burn. So what if a bunch of Iowa pastors lose their tax exempt status? As long as they force their flocks to “do the right thing”.
Ted Cruz has decided to use his faith as a campaign weapon. And there’s no way that God could endorse this behavior. Usually, I’m not fan of the IRS when it comes to this. But in this case, I say unleash the dogs of hell on these churches.
I would be equally outraged if any of the other candidates pulled this stunt. This will be the fourth law that Ted Cruz has broken. Failure to disclose large campaign loans. Taking laundered cash from corrupt donors. And he’s running for president as a foreign born naturalized citizen.
For Ted Cruz, this establishes a pattern that is more in line with democrat politicians. Ted Cruz calls himself the consistent conservative. But he’s only been consistent in trying to find ways around the law. Sounds like a slick lawyer to me.

Don’t you know Cruz is a nasty nasty man.
Paging Mark Levin.....
Ironic indeed
B have asked several. In what church was Cruz’s father ordained?
I am a pastor. I would never say to my congregation “You must vote for XYZ.”
I don’t think that’s my role. I think my role is to teach the bible. The bible teaches principles and doesn’t name names. Trump’s not in there and neither is Cruz. Cyrus is, so God can name leaders when He has a mind to do so. He didn’t choose to in this instance.
That leaves us to sort it out on our own. “Whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” is what the Bible says. The bottom line is your deciding a Godly course given a difficult choice. If Cruz is the better Christian but not likely to win against a God-hating liberalism in the long run, and Trump is a lesser Christian but very likely to win, then what is the right answer?
Jeffress and Falwell both chose electability.
Very good endorsement.
Yep. It’s the type of endorsement that could impact Iowa.
Jerry Falwell Jr said we aren’t hiring a Sunday school teacher or pastor. He said we are electing a president.
He also said we did the Sunday school teacher thing (Carter) and “how did that work out?”
I haven’t heard any of the other religious leaders say anything like that. Have you?
