There’s a lot of focus on this caucus that has so little consequence.

Who’s won it in the past? Mike Huckabee, Dick Gephardt and Tom Harkin.

Who’s lost?
Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Ronald Reagan.

Buried in all those numbers, a third or even fourth person could come boiling to the forefront on the caucus night, and surprise everybody. And there 99 opportunities to have those surprises pop out.

Sooner take my chances with Powerball lottery.

It’s important because when Ted Cruz wins Trump will go into full meltdown. Can you imagine all the people he’s gonna call stupid after he loses Iowa!?

Only shows one story to me. That being said, sidebars are a bad joke and a waste of space the way they are used and abused.

It keeps getting bantered about here that Ted Cruz has the best ground game since the 1972 Miami Dolphins and that he's going to smash Donald Trump and then plow his way to victory in the rest of the primaries.

It's also getting said that all Trump ever does is fly in on his big plane, speak to 10 or 15 thousand people, and then he gets back on his plane to go someplace else. No ground game for Trump. Air game only. Therefore, on caucus or primary night, all the Trump voters sit home on their hands while the Cruz voters battle ice, snow and cold to get to the polling places. This is because the Trump voters will find it too much trouble to get to their polling places.

Then you have those much ballyhooed evangelical voters. I keep hearing about these evangelicals and how Cruz has them all in his back pocket. These evangelicals are going to come out in huge numbers and they are going to propel Cruz all the way to the White House. No evangelical will ever vote for Trump because he says "Two Corinthians" instead of "Second Corinthians" and also Trump says mean words all the time.

Well then, whether it is Trump or Cruz, I'm happy, so long as it's not Jebbie, Rubio or some other RINO type getting the nomination.

Starting a week from now, we will begin to analyze real results. Also, I can't wait to put Iowa in my rear view mirror for another four years. Nothing against the people there but I'm really sick and tired of Iowa.

Looks like Donald has the left of center vote and Cruz has the right of center vote. But just one poll. We’ll know for sure soon.

This polling firm was convinced Carson was on fire too.

I say Carson’s gonna win it.

You say Cruz is.

Equally humorous.

Yes. That would be worth the price of admission for a front row seat. :)
