In a speech before the Senate Thursday, on the sixth anniversary of the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision, Elizabeth Warren made clear - for those with ears to hear - that she will not endorse Hillary Clinton.
If you have observed how closely Warren's and Bernie Sanders' messages line up, it is hard to imagine that she would endorse Clinton over him, anyway. Even so, the question has remained. But now, were there any question about whether or not Clinton is truly a Progressive, Elizabeth Warren - with her extraordinary, precise eye for the heart of an issue, and her unsurpassed clarity of expression - has answered it.
The first ten minutes of Warren's speech address corruption in campaign finance, and the impact of Citizens United. She lists seven steps we could take right now, including six actions - bills before Congress, executive action, and powers already within the purview of the FEC and the SEC; and the seventh, a Constitutional Amendment to restore federal and state authority to regulate campaign contributions.

She won’t be indicted by this administration.
Probably not, but one thing is for sure, they hate her guts and when push comes to shove I would not put it past them to shove her down a stairwell and then wipe their hands of her.
‘atz the troof!
That is ^true^ Chicago style!
You're wrong about Hillary, she can't win either. She's a horrendous candidate. Not telegenic, not charismatic, if she speaks normally she bores paint drying. If she gets animated she's like the wicked witch of the West. She appears snooty, arrogant, and out of touch. She's considered dishonest by over 60% of the country, including democrats. She has no one that really likes her, no natural constituency.
They're She's the rat version of Jeb.
That she's losing to a seventy plus year old socialist nimrod proves that.
I'll be surprised if she isn't replaced by someone else, and the only reason that might not happen is because there might not be anyone else they can fool us with who will run in this political environment.
Yup...been my prediction too
If you think about it in 2008, she got bested by a younger, good-looking, smooth-talker.
In 2016 she is facing an older, crazy-looking, wild-talker.
And she is still not the attractive candidate that all the demoncraps should be panting over.
And losing. The irony and humor is beyond anything I've seen coming from the rats in a long time.
Bernie is not electable. He can’t win a General Election. Hillary CAN win. I think any race would be tight, but Hillary at least has some electoral math to her advantage. I can’t believe the Dems would nominate Bernie. But clearly, there are plenty of people in that party that can’t stand Clinton.
I think you need to review the 2012 race. The kenyan only won PA by 2 points against Romney. Hillary running as a 3rd Obama term isn’t going as good as Obama himself and Trump isn’t’ going to be the easy target that Romney was.
As a “PS” to my first post - I know many, including some family members that are typically liberal/moderate who are DYING to vote for someone from the GOP but won’t vote for Trump or Cruz. They like Rubio.
But the point being, there are lots of people out there waiting to “defect” and just like they won’t vote Trump or Cruz, they are not willing to vote Clinton or Sanders.
She is wonderful to him. Her politics aside, she’s not much more than a fun-loving hippie.
I think Biden has the best shot if he runs. He just doesn’t rub people the wrong way like Hillary does.
I agree. He’s the crazy old grandfather many have themselves or have crossed paths with.
And that “crazy old grandfather” made Paul Ryan look like a fool.
I know and you may be right. But CA, NY, NJ, OR, WA, IL, MI, MN and the rest of the New England states give her a pretty big head start. Almost 200 E.C. votes.
Hillary can’t win... the only people who like her are the black underclass and white liberal elites.
She can’t win.
But are there ballot deadlines he’s missed already? All the talk about Bloomberg getting in this weekend made me think about that. When are the deadlines to say, be on the ballot by super Tuesday?
She'd wipe the floor with Jeb!
Health is going to be the excuse... Likely.
PRIMARY ballot deadlines? yes, Biden (or anybody else other than Bernie) has missed several PRIMARY deadlines.
But, until the conventions end, how can anybody be registered for the November elections? And the November election is the only one that matters.
