We won! We beat the Uniparty! Which people, ideas and groups did we defeat? List your own below.
The purpose of this thread is to celebrate that Win, dance on the graves of the losers, not lose sight of how we got here, and to maintain and develop goodwill among the Winners.
So, please keep this thread positive, and save your concerns among the frontrunners for other threads.
Here are my List of Losing people, ideas and groups, who I am so happy we (FReepdom in total) beat:
UNIPARTY
GOPe
RINOs
Karl Rove
Wall Street Journal Editorial Page, especially Paul Gigot
Boner (a.k.a. John "it's pronounced Baynor" Boehner)
McTurtle (a.k.a. Mitch McConnell)
Chamber of Crony Capitalists
Amnesty (rewarding lawbreaking)
Michael Medved
Jeb Bush and the Clan
Marco Rubio
Trent Lott / Bob ("Sproing!") Dole
Comrade Juan McNuts
Missouri Senate Traitors
RomneyCare
Eric Can't-Or
To paraphrase our Kind Host: "We Win! They Lose! Go Trump! Go Cruz!"
Trump: 34.6
Cruz: 18.8
Rubio: 11.2
Carson: 8.4
Bush: 4.8
Etc. 3.6, 2.8, 2.2, 2.2, 2.0, 0.2 http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/2016_republican_presidential_nomination-3823.html
The media’s list of PC drivel and all their list of “things Republicans aren’t allowed to say.”
The Trump card so far has beat every card in the PC deck.
Too soon. I will wait.
I will celebrate after Trump is sworn in.
Free Trade lie.
You have call from Tom Brady on line 1.
It ain’t over til it’s over and Trump is sworn in. Even then, he better have good SS protection and a kevlar space suit.
All that can be said is that we seem to be ahead right now.
The uniparty is playing for all the marbles, and they are desperate. Desperate people do desperate things.
They will do ANYTHING/EVERYTHING to block Trump (or Cruz, if lightning strikes). And I mean literally ANYTHING.
If I was Trump I’d avoid the Sec Serv entirely until I had time to purge it of incompetents and Chicago Mob members.
IA RCP: Trump 32.2, Cruz 27. What a shift from Cruz leading by 2 just last week. And this doesn’t include the 10 point Emerson poll.
Too soon to say we’ve won IMO, but at least we’re being heard now and Americans are starting to wake up.
Yeah, good point. Remember the stripper parties? That outfit has become as corrupt as any other.
I’m sure it’s been loaded up with Chicago Mob affiliates under the guise of “equal opportunity” hiring.
I went to Cincinnati to get my Global Entry clearance and the Homeland Security office did NOT look like a cross section of America. The guy who processed my application was a muslim and his name was spelled differently on his name tag and his badge. I asked to see a supervisor who was a noxious black female.
The damage of 8 yrs of Baraq will take a long time to undo.
DT is full Alinsky on Cruz. Why do you still say go Cruz?
Hardcore trumpees have gone full Alinsky on Cruz supporters.
Trump: 34.6
Others: 65.6%
If I were Trump, I'd think about stuffing half billion dollars into the PACs of the DQs (Don Quixotes), the self-deluded dwarfs that think 4-5% after all these debates amount to something beside belly laughs (yes, I AM talking about you, Chris Christie).
I'm already wondering if Trump has paid them to stay in the race (since in TrumpWorld, pay-offs are OK, as long as you WIN!).
Uh huh... sure.
Why don’t we wait until that candidate walks his talk after a few years in office.
Cause the track record for politicians who’s talk does not match their walk is that their walk always prevails over their talk.
Always.
Look at a candidates history and you have the best view of how they will govern.
So it is far to premature to be celebrating as having ‘beat’ the Uniparty.
It is far more likely that the future will show that once again the D part of the Uniparty played us once again.
Right. Just remember how President Gingrich was celebrating an out this time in 2012. Things look good now, so we can’t take anything for won until we’ve actually won it.
I ‘spose the glass is not yet half full at FR.
